SUNDAY

Good Sunday Morning, Just a short note to say hi and then we are off to church.  I don't get to post on the daily thread much as I am up and out the door in the morning and always in a rush and can't post from work.  BUT I can read from work and that is normally the lunch time routine.  Eat my lunch from my desk with a quick peek at the board.               Things are going well for me and my youngest son.  My weight is slow to come off at this point though I did lose 2 lbs this week for which I am thrilled.  I am trying to get in some extra exercise and just ordered an ab lounger to try to work on the middle section.   I have become careless about my water intake and had an experience at work the other day with severe dizziness so I am once again being very faithful to get in my water.  That part never changes -- we must keep well hydrated.               Today we are going to go to friends for lunch and tomorrow to a big Memorial day bash.  Eating isn't an issue as there is always some type of protein I can eat.  Have never had an issue with meat since surgery for which I am thankful.  And there will be fun things to do.  This year I think I will even join the volleyball games.  Something I haven't done for over 10 years.  I am looking forward to it.               Got to run.  You all have a great weekend.  Remember protein firs****er and don't forget your vitamins!! Good Sunday morning to all of my fellow Hoosier Losers. Yesterday ended up being a different day. Bill took my car over to our nephews and it ended up being something on the motor for the car windows that died. I am not sure I remember what it is but David said that we can replace the part since it isn't the whole motor. I will let you know how good the news was after I find out how much it is going to run me! lol :-) After they found out what was wrong they called me and told me that we were having a cook out at David and Heidi's house. So here I am working and working to get stuff ready for that. We had a good time and I am glad that we did that. I did get some good news from Heidi on Karissa. If you remember she is our great neice who I mentioned that I thought there was something wrong with. I voiced concern here that since she is starting kindergarten in the fall I was concerned. Well, Heidi told me yesterday that she is going to start kindergarten at the SELF school which is for special education. I was soooo relieved. Heidi said that they thought that would help her and maybe for when she started 1st grade she might be able to start it here in Portage (SELF is in Valaraiso and not Portage) and not have to travel to SELF. So I am so thankful that they are not ignoring her problems like I thought that they were.  Today is a day of staying home and finishing up stuff here since not a lot got done as far as cleaning yesterday. I have to go to the store  (OMG I hope the people are at home when I go!) and get the last minute stuff for dinner tomorrow. I am going to make some of the stuff today and get it done and then we are going to my cousins to see my aunt and uncle and their family. They asked us to come for a cook out but I told Bill that I am cooked out already and let's go after dinner and just visit a bit. He agreed to that. I called my cousin and told him to call me and let us know when they are done eating and we will come visit. He said alright. So that is a good thing. I can't beleive that I am cooked out already. I should maybe say that I am for this week end. After 2 of them in 3 days I need a break. lol Besides there is so much here to do. The day is sunny but cool. It is suppose to get warmer. It is going to start raining here later today and we are going to have rain most of the day tomorrow. I guess the rain tomorrow is going to get really bad at times. But from what I hear it is going to be warmer even with the rain. lol A lot of good that does us! Bill is going to still cook out I think. Either that or George Foreman get out of the cabinet you are helping me with Memorial Day dinner!!! I better get going. Got lots of things to do and the time is slipping away. Good Morning All, Yep!!! I am so over that pity party, LOL.Sometimes a gal gotta do what a gal gotta do mine was feeling sorry for myself well not any more. I got woke up by BOYS playing basketball   not my birds  singing. But I know my grandsons were having a good time......till I heard crying   1 got hurt.maybe just a bruied ego like his NANA. Sherri, I have been thinking about the late Mary Brown, I miss her so much. Mary I known you are watching and praying re: WLS and friends. I miss you so much.RIP my dear friend. Linda, I am so happy your family found your dog, maybe you need to re name him LUCKY   Sherri, how great for you to be able to sleep in your waterbed next to your husband thats wonderful. So today is a day for a lot thinking os the past as well as the future. I remember my dad along with his buddies, I miss all the stories he shared with us. Remembering all the folks that lost their lives stsnding up for whats right. Just wanted to pop in and say Hi to everyone and hope every one is enjoying this wonderful day so far. I have been fever free for 24 hours and am so happy  after a week of that I'm glad its finally over. Now I get to deal with all the fever blisters YUK but I will take it if it means I'm getting better finally. I never knew a bladder infection could make somebody feel so bad.

Sherri its great to hear that you have finally been able to sleep with your husband. Gail I just wanted to say since I haven't been on here much lately that I do enjoy opening you e cards when I get them. Thank you sweet heart.  My daughter is a big Danica fan and she is only 4, but she goes with mammaw and pappaw to the track during the trials to watch and just loves it. Now me on the other hand am not so fond of it but, My mom just about killed herself trying to get to Danica a week ago to get her autograph for my daughter and cornered poor danica in the bathroom but I will say my daughter ended up with a an autographed picture of danica and was the happiest little girl in the world.  So even know not much of our house are race fans we will still be cheering her on to win. Well I have rambled enough and my friend is on their way here to pick me up for a cycle ride since i'm feeling so much better, I love to get to ride on those things now.
