Happy Monday. I hope everyone is doing well. It's mainly just been the same old same old around here and I've been super busy. We had a good weekend though. I'm sunburnt like crazy but oh well it was all great fun. :) Anyone have any big plans for today?

Good morning.  My big plans for today are as follows: go to the gym and then go to work! LOL  I was scheduled off for today, but my boss asked me yesterday if I would work......and I agreed.  I can't pass up the DOUBLE TIME AND A HALF for working today! LOL  And, I have the opportunity to leave before anyone else does, AND she is going to give me a Saturday off in a couple weeks for doing this, so I don't feel so bad about doing it! LOL  And, on top of it, I will still get 8 hours holiday pay, on top of all the other pay that I will get today!  So, it almost winds up being triple time and a half for working today! Yep, that sure does make it easier to be willing to work it!  I will be getting off work at 7 pm, unless I do decide to take off early....or if I have to work over due to business being so busy.  It usually is steady, but since it is supposed to rain today, it will be packed in there!  I can't wait! On the homefront, things are ok.  My babies leave in 1 week, and I am starting to get really depressed about that.  I know they will have so much fun...they always do.  Once they are gone for the summer, I have things that I need to do here.  If any of you read my last blog, then you will understand.  I am really trying hard to get in the best physical shape.  I need this now more than ever!  It is going to be the best for me if I can reach my goal of excellent physical and mental health!   Time to get ready to hit the gym.  Have a wonderful holiday! Eat some BBQ for me!  LOL  TTYL!
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!

Good morning everyone! And I hope you all have a good Memorial Day.                        Bill & I  are suppose to meet Angie & Ed for dinner tonight. I hope the weather doesn't prevent that! I really enjoy talking with that gal!                                    At least weather-wise, they are only saying 'thunderstorms' so far..not tornado's like what has been hitting the mid-west so much since last Thursday.                              Yesterday, I got my old laptop cleaned up & defragged & all. I'm giving it to Tiffany..kinda as a 'thank you' for all she does for me. I started getting the new one set up too. I'm not sure how I feel about Vista just yet. It has been a little harder figuring out how/where to get things done at. I had set up Bill & I as two separate admin users since with his eyes, he needs the background black & letters white...and LARGE PRINT. I also set up Chance & Myranda as a parental controled user. No more than they'd be on it, I figured they could share an account. I wanted to limit which programs they could get to & allow them access to the DVD player, Word (in case Chance had homework), and games. Well...when you go to do that, the 'programs' aren't what's listed....the FILES are! So..I guess I'll play in their user profile today to be sure I guessed the right ones.                             Last night, we went to the Speedrome here on the east side of town. There sure weren't many people there. I guess they were at home waiting for the 500 to be on the TV. We enjoy the small track though. With the price of gas, my little physical issues coninueing, and Bill's improved eyesight, we will probably be going to the Speedrome more than camping this year.                   Well everyone..have a good day today!!                         Sherri                                    PS...Today is the last day to get your Pampered Chef order in!

Ellen, I too come from a long line of vetrans in my family and also friends. I appreciate beyond words what they do for us, as individuals, a nation and part of this world we live in. My dad served in the Battle of the Bulge and I am extremely proud of him. I have his flag from his casket in a holder on my hutch. I am so proud to be part of this country and all the wonderful things that it includes.  My deepest and heartfelt prayers go out to our vetrans, those with us now and those who have gone before us. Their courage, love and pride has given us the most wonderful country in this world of ours.

Hello all! I hope that you are enjoying your Memorial Day! Bill just surprised me with a early birthday present. He bought me a bottle of Sand and Sable purfume. That is my ultimate favorite one! I told him that I had my gift sitting in the back (my new swing) and he told me that I was worth it. He is something else at times. I think I am going to keep him since I have so many years invested and he is trained so well. lol We are having company over for a cook out this afternoon. It is just family but I am looking forward to it. They are going to  be her shortly so I better get going. My love and prayers are with all. Special prayers being said for those who need them. Have a safe and happy holiday.
