Hi all! Gee sounds like Jeannie had good luck fishing. When we went down at Patoka we caught 30 crappie and didn't have a fish fry. Put em in the freezer for a big fish fry with family and friends. They will have to wait a while for me to cook them though. If I can't eat any I ain't goina cook any! oh well maybe by the end of the summer. Sounds like everyone had a nice weekend! My husband and I started a new project around the house. SO it was a trip to Menard's in Kokomo! What fun! We have a sun porch and I reclaimed it as mine! So we had to clean it out and now it is  time for decorating! Of course we have the black metal mesh table and chairs, so I needed some cement floor paint, and and outdoor rug. Got some bird feeders and seed. Now we are all set and it is going to rain! Doesn't that just figure! Well the paint has all been scraped and pressure washed. Good morning all.  Well, today will be my first day since surgery that I will be home alone.  My husband had vacation last week so he was here to help.  Poor Mel, he really didn't get much vacation.  He was wonderful help and support.  I tried not to ask for too much and I was able to cook some meals for him.  The cats woke me up early - I definately wasn't ready to wake up!!  I might have to take a nap later.  I am having trouble getting all my protein in.  I'm not doing too well with milk so I got some Lactaid and that seems to be better.  It's just so much to drink and I feel full all the time.  I'm sure it will go better as my stomach heals.  I see Dr. Gupta and the Nut  with Thursday so I will have lots of questions.  Hope you all have a good day.  Barb

Good morning everyone.  Hope everyone had a good weekend.  Well the count down for my surgery is on.  My date is next Wed 6/4/08 and I think I tried all weekend to keep things caught up around my house so that I won't have a lot to do before the big day!  I know I am definately going to miss by boys while I am in the hospital but things will be ok.  Hope everyone has a good week. Barb,  Don't be too hard on yourself.  As your stomach heals you'll be able to get more protein in.  I had trouble with milk too.  I switched to the Isopure prepackaged.  I am doing a lot better.  I have had one day that I got all my protein in.  There have been several close.  Do the best you can.  Keep your chin up! Move forward!  You'll do just fine.   Carol

Well, out of 100+ invitations I only managed to miss one when putting stamps on them. I don't think that's bad, hahahaha! However, invitations are mailed... out... circulating for delievery.

Have a few errands to run today with my sister. Then she and I are gonna work on wedding stuff. Two months and one week to go. I'm getting nervous, excited, and overwhelmed all at the same time.

Quinntin finally cut his first tooth. Tooth number two is looking like it's quickly gonna follow!!!

Gage has awards night tonight at his school. We recieved a letter early last week stating Gage was gonna recieve an award(s), so we are all excited. Seeing how he just started a pilot program last year for kids in 50% or more in LD classes to intergrate into regular classes and help them get into a trade/tech college or regular college, I'm excited for him that he's getting something in recognizition of his hard work. Tomorrow at 2 pm is a small graduation ceremony at his school for the 8th graders. Then he has the rest of the week off and first thing Monday June 2nd he's got weight lifting (for football) 6:30a - 8:30a, Summer PE 11:30 - 3:30p, and then regular football practice from 5:30p - 8p Monday thru Friday. ALL SUMMER! Poor kids is gonna be so dang busy being so athletic. His body sure is gonna change this summer.

Welp.... off to do dishes and feed Mr. Q

Good morning all! Im back to work today after a 3 day weekend.  Wasnt such a good weekend, we had things going on, but didnt get to do any of them except go to my mom's for a little while on Sunday.  My youngest daughter is still sick with mono.  She pepped up a little on Sunday so she wanted to go to my mom's and I kept her away from everyone and she had to stay outside. Then she got to feeling bad so we went home. Hopefully she will get to feeling a lot better this week.  She has been sick for a week now. I hope everyone had a good Memorial Day weekend and has a good week.

Good morning to all my fellow Hoosiers Losers, and also those who are in waiting.  I hope that everyones Memorial Day went well. Mine did with the exception that my sister was suppose to come but backed out at the last minute. I wasn't really surprised. For some reason she just doesn't seem to want to come to my house. I waited all morning for her call and it finally came at 12:30~and she was suppose to be here at 1. She was soooo sick and then she called me about an hour or so later and she sounded just fine. Amazing recovery if you ask me. lol Today is a day at home. Without Bill since he has to go to work today. I am going to miss him. But please remind me of that the week after next since that week he is going to be on vacation. Usually by the Wednesday of that week I am ready to shoot him or me!!! Bill is taking me to lunch for my birthday today. That is the closest that we can get to going for dinner since he is going to be working. We are going to one of our favorite places so that is going to be nice~and besides I got a coupon for my birthday that I get up to $10 off and so that makes it even better. lol Janene, what are you doing now that you are going to be working at home? I would love to get a job doing something here. That would be like heaven to me~working but still home. Kind of the best of both worlds if you ask me. I am wanting to go get a job but it has been so long since I worked I am afraid to do it. The thought of "What if I can't do it." keeps going through my mind. I know that the time is coming fast since we really need for me to go and work financially.  Better get going. I have a few things that I want to get done before Bill and I get going and doing the things we need to do. I hope that everyone has a safe and sunny day today. I am sending all hugs and love and prayers going up for everyone, special ones for those in need.

Brenda I too hadn't worked in a while....and really didn't think I had too many skills and definately knew I couldn't get around really well. This WAH job really fits my style to a T! I saw this ad in my newspaper...he is a gold buyer...buys old gold and coins...travels the country...so I set up the buys and work with his inventory on ebay. my official job title is Executive Assistant. I really hope it works out. The pay is GOOD and I can still do things I wanna do...don't have to hurry in the AM to get out the door to a job!  Keep looking...and I have found that if you have to pay money to have a WAH job...It is not a good thing. huggggggggs Janene
