Wednesday...Hump Day already!

Good morning all. Isn't it great with long weekends that hump day arrives so quickly?!?!                       Happy Birthday to all my fellow Taurus'ers..and to my cusp Gemini's! There sure were alot of us May babies, weren't there? LOL!                            And congrats to all of the new post-ops! I hope that you all are doing well. For those who will be having their surgery soon...if you don't have a 'surgery angel', you might consider asking Gail to be your phone surgery angel for you. What that means is that she'll call the hospital & see how you're doing & post on the board to let us all know. You & your family can also call her if you have a need/question while you're in there. Gail does this and also sends out ecards to folks who enjoy them. She always seems to know just the right one to send & when!                        Also newbies..in case you weren't sure about Floyd's post. The Hoosier Directory is a record of the member's info. It is not to be used for Spam or for harassing people...EVER. It is provided so that we have a means of contacting one another in a hurry...say if I'm going to go to West Baden and would like to see LaChelle, I can look on the directory, get her phone # and give her a call to try to set up us meeting for lunch while I'm there. When I send out invites to participate in the Secret Elf program, it is also done through the directory...and ONLY the people on the directory will be invited. I'll send out more info about the Elf program later in June...think Secret Pal though. So..if you're interested at all, you need to send Floyd your info.                            Well..my next folow-up with Dr. Bergman is today at 4:40. There's a place on my leg that she has to drain. I'm not looking forward to that. She said last time that she was going to take post-op pics this time. I don't think that's a good idea with the swelling. But then again, maybe it would be so that it'd be obvious of how much I am swollen. Somehow going from a 33" waist to a 38" waist within 3 hours just doesn't seem 'norm' to me. I'm ready to go uy me some overalls so I can be more comfy all day long. How else do you dress for that?? Start off the day in a size 8 and by lunchtime feel like you need a 12-14! Of course, by 4, they'd be falling down around my ankles! Well...we'll see what she has to say. I'm pretty sure I'm going to learn that it's a Dr. Gupta/hernia thing though. Especially since it pooches out on me.                                      LaChelle....how far are you/your casino from Holiday World & that hotel that Jacqui arranged for us? We're thinking about just staying at the hotel instead (it'd be alot cheaper than gas for the RV).  Bill was trying to come up with a game plan should we reserve the room and it rain all day on the 27th. Good Morning!! I am at MommyLissa's house waiting for the girls to wake up.. Melissa has her pre-op testing today.. (lucky her) She had her education class yesterday. That is probably why I havent gotten a job yet.. someone up there knew she would need a GOOD baby sitter.. who better than grandma.. You know the girls were one of the reason I HAD surgery.. I wanted to live to play with them.. I am so glad I did too I would have never had the energy for triplets... They won't know what to do with a new improved mommy who can catch them!!! Heheh.. they are good girls!! But 3, 4year olds are ACTIVE!! Today starts the Highway 40 garage sale.. Ron and I usually hit as many as we can between here and Brazil... I think this year we might leave later doday after Melissa gets home and head west.. who knows even stay alnight somewhere and enjoy MILES of garage sales..Happy WED people..Linda Kay

Good morning all! Working today and nothing going on this evening.  My daughter with mono is finally getting better I think.  She is having a lot more "feel better" moments then she was. She is not having to take her Tylenol with Codeine as often so that is good.  Poor girl! Tomorrow is her birthday she will be 13 and she wants to have a friend stay over Friday night. I am not sure if that is such a good idea or not. I dont want the little girl to get anything.  I will just have to call the doc today and ask them I guess. I had to go to the funeral home last night. A guy that used to be on the EMS dept. lost his wife and she was only 37. Well this guys parents used to be on the dept. as well and they didnt even know me. Well his mom didnt. I was in full dress uniform and she kept saying to her husband who is that girl in the uniform, he said that is Jenny and she said no its not...lol. So she finally came up and talked to me and said I cannot believe how great you look. I am starting to get from several people now, you dont need to lose anymore.  I say I only want to lose about 15 more, just to get down in my normal range and they argue with me, that I am going to get down to skinny.  So I dont know what to do.  I mean if I didnt lose anymore I would be happy, but I am thinking that I want to be at a range that I have a little room to play with (if you know what I mean). I guess we will see. But all in all I am happy with the way I look except the saggy butt skin and hip. Maybe I will come into some $$$ and can have that taken care of. Well enough of me rambling. Well...just looked at our forcast down here and its warm and sunny this weekend! So glad we busted butts and got the pool set and filled and all the yard work and plantings done last weekend! Me+Pool+Margaritas in the evening=very happy mom!!!!! I just want to get some sun on this pasty white body! Hope everyone has a great day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sherri, I am about 1 hour away from Jacqui and Holiday World.  We have 2 beautiful hotels, but seriously, they are too darn expensive to even think about renting a room! LOL  I would try to suggest other options for you first!  I would love for you to come to the casino to visit tho!  Luckily I will be able to have the day off and get to Holiday World! LOL Hope everyone is doing well today.  It is supposed to be nice here today, with just a slight breeze.  I hope so, since I FINALLY have 2 days off!  I was so tired last night that I hardly was able to eat supper.  I dosed off in the middle of my soup! LOL  Oh well, at least I don't have to rush around and do anything today! Going to rest some, and then goof off around the house. Have a wonderful day. 

Good morning Indiana!!!!! Today is nice and sunny. Notice I DID NOT say warm and sunny. I guess it is going to be a few days until the warm comes back, but at least the sun is out. lol I have to go the opthalmologist this morning. I have to see him every 3 months because of the diabetic retinopathy. I seem to be seeing better, at least to me, so for that I am grateful.  Nothing much planned for the rest of the day. It is going to be one of those days that I am going to do what comes in front of me to do. lol Maybe I can catch up on some reading since I didn't get any of that done yesterday as I had planned. The phone kept ringing and Pogo.com was calling me in my ear to play my Sweet Tooth 2 game also. So what is a girl to do? When the game web site calls I must answer!!!! I weighed again this morning and just .3 pounds to go until onederland comes to my house!! I am so excited since I haven't saw one of those numbers since I was probably 2 years old!!! Heck.....I don't even remember being that number! I better get going. I have some things to do this morning before the appointment. And...Misty is expecting ALOT of attention today. She has been following me all over purrring and so it is going to be a major Misty loving day today. Things could be worse. lol I hope that you all have a wonderful and blessed day today.
