Cold medicine??

Just a quick question.  I know this has been answered before, but I can't find it.  What cold meds can we take?  I have a slight head cold.  It's not bad, just enough to be annoying.  Small sinus headache and the drip drip of the nose.  I was just going to take my liquid tylenol for the head ache, but can I take something else for the runny nose? Thanks!!
