Just wondering if anyone has used Nulev sublinguals. I had an ER trip almost 2 weeks ago for severe pain and couldnt even pass gas or anything. The ER doc gave me Bentyl and I didn't notice any difference with the pain or anything. I called Dr. C's office last week and let them know bout the ER trip and being put on the Bentyl and all that fun stuff but never got a call back. Saw my PCP today and explained that my tummy has really been acting up again lately and that every time I eat I get soo uncomfortable and bloated and miserable and pain if it's something near solid (Yogurt and stuff like that didn't hurt but i was still bloated). Anyways he put me on Nulev and I just took the first one but I was just wondering if anyone has had experience with these and if they helped.

Misty, I just did a search for Nulev. It is a brand name, just as LevBid is. Hyoscyamine is the generic name for either one. I'm on LevBid (as well as a 2nd anti-spasmadic). There are several sites where you can read more about it. Just go to Google.com and then put 'Nulev' in the search engine. While prescribed for many things, it is commonly prescribed for IBS. I found it kinda funny for my paticular situation that one site said that if you get diarrhea to contact your doctor right away. While LevBid has done nothing for that (still going 10-20 times a day!), I can definately tell if I forget to take it. So can anyone sitting in the same room as me. With it, I feel like I have triplets in me all kicking at the same time. Without it, I feel like I'm pregnant with Rosemary's baby and it is making it's way out (but then again, I feel that way when my stomach swells up on me too). My intestines are also quite verbal without it too. That's where people in the same room notice. They think it's my stomach 'growling'. In actuality, it doesn't matter what time of day it is or when I had my last meal.    So...while LevBid doesn't do all they hoped it would for me (like get rid of the diarrhea****rtainly don't want to be without it.                  Sherri
