I went Wed. for my last of the 6 months Dr. visit and they still have not faxed my info to St. V's they said to call St. V Tue or Wed. to see if they have it yet. I'm wondering how long it will take Dr. Cacucci's office to send it to the insurance.

ticbran you need to ask them. If you don't it may get lost. I think you would be smart to approch them. Don't let it do go to long or you will regret it.    Michelle

IF you live in town, I suggest you ask your PCP for a copy of your records ... then make one extra copy for yourself, and deliver one to your surgeon's office.  That way, they have a better copy to send to the insurance company, and you know 100% that they have it.

I am going to seem like the devil's advocate.  But they couldn't fax your info to your insurance until after you had that visit.  Amy knows her stuff with the insurance papers.  You want her to send all your information in the best form to get you approved.  I know my information was 40 pages.  It takes a little while to get that together.  She will get it to them as soon as she possibly can.  I think it took at least a week after all my information for my info to be faxed in.

Talked to my Doc's office today and they faxed everything to St. V today. I pick my copys up tommorow. My Doc also sent a strong letter to boot. I'm getting excited. I only hope 3rd times charm. Thanks for all the info, I'm so glad I found this site.
