WOW moment

I had my RNY on 9/17/07.  Never in a million years did I think that I would have lost 130lbs in a little over 8 months.  I am only 31 lbs from my personal goal.  I just bought a size L skirt and size 12 jeans.   I tried on an XL skirt yesterday and it was to big, so I picked up a L thinking, It may be a little snug but with my "girdle" on it should look ok.  I could have worn the M.  I still hold them up and think.... "there is no way my fat butt will fit in these"  Then I put them on and WOW.  I hope my next WOW moment is when my body image and head come together.  I don't think that will happen any time soon.  I am still trying to see myself as others still see me.  I am not very good at it yet.

I only wish my butt was the size of yours!!!!  I am very happy for you.    And sooo close to your personal goal! best wishes Kim

Thanks girls for the encouragement.  It just doesn't sound so much like "bragging" when I tell you all.  I really appreciate the encouragement.
