....and we're back!

Hey all!                    so what did you think about that storm Friday night? AFTER it had moved out of our neck of the woods, we were sitting here watching Tv..oh...~12:30 AM (Saturday morning technically). We were watching all about that building that collapsed at 38th & Mithoffer...which is ~1/2 way between us & Floyd & Brenda. Suddenly OUR light go out! And..they didn't come back on until ~2:30 TODAY! We did go spend the night in a hotel last night that had a hot tub suite.. and we managed not to lose any food or anything. So....we are all doing okay and I hope everyone else out there is too. BTW..Floyd & Brenda are doing fine too. Lucky dogs..they lost their lights for ~5 minutes! Welcome back!  Glad to hear you guys are ok.  Hope you made good use of the hot tub. 

Glad you're ok... Two of my sisters live in that direction too I guess my little nephew was scares awful!! We didnt get much of anything...I slept thru most of it..Linda Kay

We actually live off of 46th and Mitthoeffer!  It was a little too close for comfort!  Only one of my boys couldn't sleep, my 3 year old slept through the whole thing.  We had lightning strike our surround sound receiver, it sparked inside and stunk really bad. And our garage door is no longer working as of that night too. But of course we are very thankful that was all the damage we have!  It is sad seeing all those people that have lost everything!  And still without electricity, we got our back several hours later that night!
