Southside Meeting

Does anyone attend the Southside support meeting?  I live in Greenwood and that would be my closest...   I would like to attend a couple once I have a surgery date. Thanks

I was told about the meeting at my consult at St. V's.  Sorry I don't have much info... I believe it is open considering they wanted me to go before surgery.  I will let you know if I find out specifics.

Dani, I attend monthly.  I think it is very important to have continued support, and I enjoy the meetings.   My dad also attends (he had surgery last August).  Were in Greenwood do you live?  I live off of Smith Valley and SR37. Tina

Tina,  We are really close... I live on Fairview between 135 and Morgantown.  I guess I should have said the St. V's southside meeting.  I believe it is at a Catholic church near southern plaze.  It that where you go or is there another one too?

Dani, Yes, we are close.  I live in the Wakefield subdivision.  We are practically neighbors.  I do go to the St. V's support meeting.  It is at St. Roch's and it is the 4th Monday of the month.  There wasn't one this week because of the Holiday.  So the next one isn't until June.  I hope to be there, I am having plastic surgery on Monday, so it depends on how I feel by the end of the month :)

Hi all, I live in Greenwood too!  What meeting is this?  Is it only for St V patients or anyone.  I have attended a support group for St Francis patients but that is all. ( I am off of Fry road between 31 and 135)

I am in Martinsville, not far from you guys. 252 and SR37.  We darn near have enough to start our own support group lol. Jeannie
