Shanna here is the post from Jacqui. I just clicked under your avatar on latest posts and scrolled down till I found it. Here's the official Hoosier Loser's Holiday World/Splashin' Safari date......FRIDAY, JUNE 27!

We get a special rate of $26.95 (General Admission is $39.95).  They are going to let me set up a table outside the gates for you to get your tickets so we don't have to wait in line!  I've also got a block of rooms at Comfort Inn and Suites for $59.00/night for those who need overnight accommodations.  I'm still working on Lake Rudolph and Santa's Lodge so don't give up on those yet.

The only thing I need is a general number of guests coming so I'll be prepared for the day.  If you and your friends and family are planning to attend, please let me know!  You're not obligated to come if you say you are.  I will only be charged for the tickets that are picked up that day.

I hope all of you have fun. I went there Sunday for hubby's work picnic and we had a blast! The new Kima Bay is just as much fun for adults as kids. If you don't have kids with you, check it out anyway! I wish I could go with you. Holiday World has special meaning for me. I went there 5 years ago and was so humiliated by being too big to go on the rides and then being in a swimsuit in the water park that I cried all of the way home and immediately returning home I filled out the online papers at Winona hospital for bariatric surgery. I had been researching it for about 2 years but that day was my deciding factor! Now I can go there and enjoy every minute.

Sounds like fun. We've been wanting to go there and I've heard they have one of the nicest campgrounds in the state.  Unfortunatley we have other plans for that weekend. I'm having a Lia Sophia party that Sat that I've already rescheduled 4 times.   It is interesting to hear what the final push was for some of us to decide on the surgery.  I too had been looking into it for two years then went to a family reunion and saw a cousin of mine (same age as me) that had had the surgery 6 months prior.  That took me off the fence and got me going. Anyone else have a prticular stepping off moment?
