FINALLY, I HAVE BEEN APPROVED

What a difference a day makes! I emailed Amy last night and this morning she had emailed me and told me that I am approved for Lap Band, yeah, she said Heather would be calling with a date!  Wow, Iam so excited and nervous all at the same time! Can't imagine what I will feel like when I walk threw the surgery doors....... Thanks for letting me vent here, I will let everyone know when I have a date. Tracey

CONGRATULATIONS!    I remember going thru that waiting period for approval and scheduling. It seemed to go on FOREVER.  In the whole scope of things it is now just a distant memory.  Before you know it you will be two years out and will look back on this and laugh.   I was so tense and obsessed while waiting for approval.  It won't be long now.  We'll be watching for your date to be posted.

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Good Luck getting your date.  For me the Insurnace part was a pain but the waiting two weeks to get a date drove me nuts!!!!!!!

 Thanks everyone, I know it might take awhile to get the date, I just hope I don't start eating cause I am so nervous. I would like to try and lose about 15 pounds before surgery, but I will also be glad just not to gain. Tracey

Tracey,   Congratulations!!!!!!!  I'm so happy for you.  You'll have your date before you know it and soon it will be your day!  I had a few last suppers before my surgery but I found that I already was looking at food differently - I just didn't eat very much.  Now I wonder what the big deal was because I don't want any food now.....
