It's Friday Morning!!!

Good Morning everyone!!! Hope all is well today!! I hear there is some nasty storms predicted for this evening..So get out and enjoy this morning..I played outside under the sprinkler with my grandaughters yesterday evening!! they were so sweet running thru the water... first in their clothes then in their panties...You can't see them over the hedge and they are only 4 ( almost****pt my clothes on... didn't want to shock their daddy!! See that is some of the fun I can have now that I would have never tried 3 years ago...I have had this pain in the neck for the last week.. causing a headache..(no not my DH) this one is real.. so I am going to go get the ice bag and leave ya now...Linda Kay

Good morning all! I know what you mean Linda about doing things now that you wouldnt have prior to surgery.  Everytime I am at my parents house I get on the trampoline with my nieces and we just jump and play. Its so much fun!  I do flips and they just laugh.   Not much going on this weekend.  Hopefully just some R & R. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

It shows live feeds from storm chasers in the field!!!  It is so wild!  Here is the link if you would like to check that out as well.......it is so awesome! http://www.severestudios.com/ Linda, that sounds like so much fun playing around with the girls in the sprinkler.  I can remember doing stuff like that when I was littel...it will be a memory they won't forget.  I know my girls have been out in the sprinkler and playing in the small pool that their grandmother bought for them while they are in Arkansas.  Mariah called me last night and told me that she is a little sunburned already, but that it didn't sting. I told her to make sure that they wore sunscreen, and they went to the store to get some.  At least they are getting out and about. LOL Time to get ready for work.  Have a wonderful and safe day all!

Hi Everyone,  Whew- my tests are over & I found out I DO  have a brain!! It will be 3 weeks before we know any results though. It took 2 hrs. to do all 3 of them & then the machine stopped in the middle of them, had to wait another 10 min. till it was rebooted ,and start again.I told the tech I was glad to know I had one cause I'd been singing "If I only had a brain" all week-hee~hee!I am relieved!!!! I hope you all are doing well. I have alot going on- our grandsons graduation was wonderful- too much food so everyone took left overs, and the guys at work enjoyed them too. It is so nice to give away food and not want to hoard it -like in the past~!One of the bonuses of this surgery for me is I don't have to have it all!!!.  Dana & I had some heartbreaking news- an old family friends son took his life this past weekend. He was heading to Iraq and shot himslef. The funeral is Saturday, so we are going. It is so hard to believe.Our girls were good friends of his sisters, so this is just like losing one of our own children.  Going to work in a few minutes, so I hope everyone has a great weekend. Congrats to the new post-ops-sip,walk,sip,walk,try to get that protien in as best you can it does work.  Sending you all my ((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))) Ellen

Good morning everyone!              Well..a big concern took care of itself last night. I was naturally playing with that loose bridge...why is it that you just cannot help but play with something like that????..and the hold on the last tooth came undone! I rinsed out my mouth and then popped the bridge back on. It is snug enough that I wasn't afraid of it coming off and choking me during the night. Now at least I don't have to worry about the dentist breaking it today. I go see her at 2...and now I can just pop it off for her! Hey...$3800 is alot of $$! If I had that kind of cash in my savings, I would want to hang on to it for my girls, not to re-fix something I had already paid to be fixed once!                     I'm taking off of work at 11. I'm meeting Cindy & Richard Perry and Gail at Red Lobster for lunch. If anyone would like to join us, we'll be at the one on Thompson Road...just east of US31/East Street. We're meeting there at 11:15. We'll get a table big enough for anyone who wants to come if you let us know to expect you! Since I have my dentist appointment after that, I'm not going back to work. So..Bill suggested I bring home a lobster pizza for tonight. Yummmm!                                Bill was saying last night how we could really use a vacation. Boy, does he have that right! One with no doctors, work, or anything else. After the dentist, we have to run the RV over to get a piece repaired on it. After that, maybe we can start trying to plan at least a  mini vacation. Boy have I been out of the loop.  Just reading the posts on this thread I realize how much I've missed.  Ellen, I didn't know you were working.  I didn't know you had tests done.  I'm so sorry about the loss of your friend.  I won't get on my soapbox about the war but that is such a tragic story.  Sherri, hope the dentist visit goes well and you get that bridge fixed.  Jenny and Kay, I love the things I can do now.  My daughter and I jump on her trampoline nearly every day!  We go for walks, we swim in our pool more.  I even bought a bike and go riding with her and get down on the floor and play games with her.  She keeps asking me to play Twister but I haven't tried that one yet!  I'm slowly creeping down to the 200 lb number.  Just a few more and I'll be in WONDERLAND!  I can't imagine being under 200 lbs.   I have meetings all day today so I won't be in much.  Please know how much I love you guys and will post more next week about an update on Holiday World.  It looks like we're going to have a good turnout. It was good weather to play in the sprinkler, I wish my grandbabies lived close enough to do things like that, but I do understand about doing things that you never thought about doing before surgery.  We own 4 good size lots, and I got out yesterday after working all day and got 3 out of 4 mowed.  Before surgery I had trouble walking across a room, now I  can walk 5-10 miles and not think about it.  (My body feels it later) Life is wonderful.  I got a busy weekend, a co-worker is getting married tomorrow and our son is graduating from high school on Sunday and of course cannot forget homework, I am so ready for a break, after almost 4 years, I am so ready to take a break before I start my Master degree. Sherri hope everything goes well at the dentist today, everyone have a wonderful and blessed weekend. 

Its Friday afternoon,    I have done aot today.....Took tyler to school for Football practice, took Bella to the library (i love Janet evanovich's books on cd) Went to my 2 favorite resale consigment store and found a really super cute Old Navy silk Tank top. ( and Bella some shorts) and got a Pedicure.....she asks me you wat an eyebrow wax? uuhhmm no!, I think I need to pluck? Whatcha think? I thought I just did but that Biotin seems to be doing its job! Got home planted a flat of flowers my DH bought me last night and did some light Gardening and now its time to get ready for work! Good luck to Everyone with what you are doing.....Bella has been an extreme handful this week! I tend not to drop her off at the Babysitters when I close, I just don't have the heart and I never see her, then. Man sometimes I just need time to myself Ya know!

Next week I am on Days so I will be home with my Family all week nights. Supposed to be going to Ohio Thursday becasue my SIL is graduatuing from Nursing school but I don't know yet. I have to work but could probably switch, DH hasn't said anything yet about it. My Garden is about 6x4 and is busting at the seems from all the rain, I am having to pull my Green onions already they are taking over! I can't wait till Holidaqy world...more than 1 day off...wow how exciting :) Talk to you later shanna

Good Afternoon All, Just got back a little ago while from lunch with Cindy & her husband and Swerri. We had a good time. I am still a little nervous ok a lot about surgery on Monday. I am going to try to keep myself busy. Maybe go walking a lot !! I am going to a  on Sunday so that should be fun.  I send healthy wishes to those in need,   I hope everyone has a   of fun.
