Saturday....

Wow..are we all delayed this morning or what? I know for me, I decided to FINALLY get caught up on LOST. I can't wait for the new season to begin now!              I'm trying to wait out these darn storms. I really need some garden space dug up. My son is going to do that for me. The area that I have all my baby plants are starting to get just a little bit crowded. lol. That's a GOOD thing! I'm also waiting so I can run to the store. I need to go pick up some more apples (...Gail....).                      Hey all...say a little prayer for Gail this weekend..ok? She's really nervous about the hernia surgery she's having Monday morning. I'll be up there with her and if I can get my WIFI to work there, I'll post how she is doing as soon as the doc comes out & talks to her family.                      Well..you all have a good day today!               Sherri

Good morning, Sherri. I hope today is a good one for you. I hope that it is a good one for all of my fellow losers and soon to be losers.  Today is overcast here. No sun and a lot of wind. It has been very windy for the past couple of days. In fact Bill took the canopy off my swing because of it. If only it was not so hot to go with it. Last night the humidity went down and it was finally decent.  Well, Bill is on vacation now. I told him last night that I had a honey do list a mile long for him. He looked at me and said that he wants to go fishing a couple of times during the week. I teased him and told him I was sorry but the honey do list comes first. I think he beleived me on that one too. lol I just have a couple of things for him to do. He will have more than enough time to fish. I will probably go with him a couple of times and read while he fishes. I like to do that and we did that a lot when we were first married. I am not one that is much for fishing. I would rather read a good book.  I would like to go the grocery today and get some things. I know that Bill is going to be wanting to grill out just about every day of his vacation. I will be needing to get some things so he can do that. I think I want to get some pork chops and some steaks for sure. What else is beyond me. I will know what I want when I see it. I hate buying meat anymore. I just get so sick to my stomach when I have to look at it. I could easily become a vegatarian but there is times that I like to eat meat. lol I just don't like to look at it or touch it. lol Gail, I am keeping you in my prayers for Monday and the days coming to it. I pray that He keeps you in the circle of His healing and loving arms and brings to you peace, understanding and healing. I also pray that He keeps the doctors and nurses around you in His care and gives them knowledge and understanding and compassion to you. If you need to talk just let me know.  Sherri, I am so glad that you are going to be at the hospital for Gail. You are such a blessing to her and to all of us. I really hope that you can post and let us know how she is doing as soon as you can. We will all be waiting.  I guess I had better get going. I am keeping all of you in my prayers and sending you love and big hugs too. I just can't wait until the clothing exchange so I can finally meet all of you. I feel out of the loop living all the way up here. lol After I meet you I will be in the loop!!!!! I am just thankful it is a loop and not a hoop that I have to jump! lol Have a wonderful day and bloom where you are planted since that is where God wants you to be at the moment.

Hello to All, I am nervous about the surgery but I think I am just a little upset cause I could not do the         abdominoplasty at the same. I know God has a plan for me, I just have to remember that. Sherri and Brenda thank you for thinking.My OH family means the world to me, and I feel so blessed to have you in my life. Wow, was that a storm or what  ? Maybe the sun will come out later, you think??!!! I am sending well wishes to those in need.    And Love to ALL. Hi everyone,  This has been a difficult day for us. We attended the funeral of our old friends son, & it was so sad. He had so much depression for years, & never got the help he needed after his dad died- of suicide. I was so impressed when his youngest sister read a poem she'd wrote, and said " the cycle stops here- whatever it takes, our family is going to get the help it needs to break this curse on our family". Oh, all the photos of when we all hung out together when they were children just brought so many sweet/sad memories back. This was harder than when his Dad Ron had committed suicide, in so many ways. We stayed for the service but didn't go to the graveside. It was a wonderful service, and one of the things stood out to me- "Satan is a deciever & lier, & who knows what he was whispering to Ronnie /how much he was tormented for years. Now, he is in the arms & saftey of God, no longer in anguish & pain."Please pray for the girls(Dawn & Melanie)& their families,as they are so hurt,mad,& feeling a horrible loss again.   Gail, know my thoughts are with you, and your surgery will be over before you know it. I am looking forward to hearing how it went and that you are on your road to full healing! The rain has been so bad here today & the town was already torn up from the storms last night. We had 60-80 mi. hr. winds here, & lost alot of trees all over town. Luckly we only lost some small limbs from our trees- our daughters house lost alot of shingles and big tree limbs.The ulitilies has had their work cut out for them restoring some power lines and getting tree limbs out of them.
