Sunday
You only have one life to live, but if lived right, it's the only one you need!
Good morning all! Not alot planned today except my son is coming over. Bill wants to wash/wax the RV. He's got a cleaner w/wax that you spray on and let it set a few minutes..then you buff it dry..Jay will be doing the buffing. After that, I'm having him start digging me out a garden. My starts are doing very well (in my ~6'x8' flower bed) and it's about time for them to get thinned out some. He's used to digging me 8 holes for 8 tomatoe plants. This year, I need a whole freaking garden! LOL! I did seeds as well as plants...and I did ALOT, knowing I can dehydrate the veggies & enjoy them all next winter. So..if they all do well, I'll have LOTS of tomatoes, eggplant, yellow summer squash, zuccinni, cucumbers, and bell peppers (green & yellow). In my other flower bed, I turned it into an herb garden. It's doing pretty good too...especially the dill! I plan to dehydrate alot of those for the winter use as well. (Gail...I have the apples all sliced up. And no sweetie, they aren't all for you. I really enjoy them too! LOL! I do have 2 containers for them though. One has sweetner added, the other just has cinnamon. I DO call that one 'Gail's apples'. LOL!). LaChelle..if it were me, I'd want to work evenings all the time at a casino! I would guess that the better tippers would be there then. The perfect shift would probably be what..8pm to 4 am. I really doubt that is a 'shift'. But it'd be a nice one $-wise, huh? Especially for tips! During the day, my guess, would be mainly little ole ladies wanting to put a roll of pennies into the slots. Hehehe...I know that in Vegas, it seems like they are packed in those evening hours.Enjoy it! Ellen...I'm thinking about you today kiddo. I know it was pretty rough. He's in God's hands now and out of his suffering. The toughest funeral I've ever been to was one for a friend of Tiffany's. She was only 11 and choked to death on Good Friday on a toy (one of those little pegs that goes with a game..the kind that looks like a golf tee). That was the same year that my ex'es grandmother and my oldest sister had died. That little girl's funeral was the hardest on all of us of the three. We came home and my ex broke down and I asked him what was wrong. He just pointed to my entertainment center with glass doors. There in the middle of it was the handprint of Yvonne. She had just went home from staying a week at our house the day before she died. It's little things like that which is going to be hard. Time does help though. I'm glad that your friend's death is serving to teach others about depressing. I truly believe that no life..and no death..should be in vain. I hope it's a comfort to his loved ones to know that his death wasn't..that others will be more inclined to seek help because of him. Gail..how are you doing today sweetie? Call me if you want to talk..k? Well all..have a super-duper day today! I know I'm planning on enjoying the rain-free outdoors today!! Sherri
