Tomorrow is my surgery date!

8am at Clarian. A lady I sat next to in my pre-op class is right after me. I'm not nervous really, I'm just anxious. Perhaps if I wasn't so weak from this liquid diet, I would be more nervous! HA HA! I'm feeling good, feeling like this is 110% the right thing for me. I can't wait!

Oh, and I'm down 10 lbs this month already! Please send prayers and good thoughts my way (and Aurora too - she was my pre-op buddy!) I'll see you all on the loser's bench very soon! Anna

Best wishes for a speedy recovery and a successful surgery.  You and Aurora are in my prayers.  Make sure you walk alot together!  We'll save you a spot on the losers bench. For the record, I didn't get nervous at all either.  I just knew it was the right thing for me. Remember, if God brings you to it... he will get you thru it.   Take care of you and keep us informed. Anna, I am sending prayers for both you and Aurora for your surgeries tomorrow. I pray for a good surgery and a quick and pain free recovery. We got your spots on the bench all ready for you girls to park your tiny hinys on. Keep us posted on how things are with you. Don't forget to sip and walk, sip and walk. Don't forget the chapstick either. You get soooo dry.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Right at this very moment they should be wheeling you into the operating room.  God be with all those involved, and especially you.  You will be fine.  Take this time to reflect on yourself, and your healing.  You and your friend Aurora are both in my prayers.  Good Luck!
At Goal! 165 pounds gone forever! Thank you Lord!

Keeping you in my prayers.   I was excited about surgery. Who would think one would be excited about having a surgery? I just knew that it was the right thing for me and that things for me could only get better.  You will do fine!

Thank you all sooo veyr much! You helped me and Aurora get through a flawless surgery and speedy recovery!

I went in at 8am and surgery was an hour and twenty minutes. I was back in my room at noon and walking by 2pm! I rarely used my pain meds, I kept walking and sipping and we both got discharged at noon today!

I'm on my last 8 oz for the day! I'm taking all of the sip sip sipping advice! I have a 2 year old here, but a super husband, so I'm expecting some slow days, but the payoff is in sight!

Thanks again for all of your great thoughts and prayers!
