Birth Control?

The Mirena IUD is awesome ... gives you very light periods as if you were on a pill ... something to keep in mind, since you can't take advil for menstrual cramps post-RNY! Talk to your ob/gyn about it.

Thanks for all the replies. The way I feel right now I won't need birth control for a VERY long time!! But, I realize one of these days I will heal and feel like my old self again, so it's great to have all this info. I plan to make an appointment with my obgyn and get her take on this too, but it's nice to go into the appointment with information from those who have been there and done that! Thanks! Melissa
