Wow..we are late today, aren't we? Good morning!   I think I'm going to take off early today. I still have alot of plants to thin out for my 'garden'.  I don't want to chance it raining all weekend. I may see if Bill would mind doing some shoveling for me...he works cheaper than my son..lol. Anyway, I'm kinda waiting to make that decision based on how my stomach feels afterwhile. Right now, it's just swollen..but not hurting really.                                  No word from Dr. Gupta yet. I sent her nurse a note yesterday afternoon so I am hoping to hear something today. If there is no hernia..then more tests NEED to be ran. I have been trying laxatives on the advise of my family doctor just in case I really am full of it and the liquid from the diarrhea is all that can squeeze past it all. Well..no difference and that is with taking FOUR colace a day AND drinking a cup of Smooth Move tea per day (every day since Sunday). Prior to October, 2 colace OR 1 cup of tea would be enough to totally clean me out no matter how bound up I was. Na-da..no difference at all. So...if I am full of it..there's a blockage or something cause it is not responding to laxatives. It is getting to where I get nauseated when I try to eat a meal now. I'm ok munching. I guess it's that the trickle in is ok....? Even my cereal made me throw up this morning. I did just get a note back from Katie and she said that I'd probably hear back from her or Dr. Gupta tonight or tomorrow.                 Well..all...have a really good day!           Sherri

Well that seems like a long time to wait to hear back from the Dr.  Would be nice to just be able to be to normal wouldn't it.   You and Gail sure have had enough problems this year.    I'm being lazy at work this morning.  I've taken care of the people that have come in but really haven't gotten started on my work yet.  Gee I wi**** was Friday.  Not looking forward to Sat though really. The farrier comes to trim the all horses and donkeys at 9:00. It will take us till 1 or 2 to be done. That dang little mule of my MIL's is the real pain.  It takes 3 of us to hold her so she can get her feet trimmed.  Wears me out just to think about it.  I have a stampinup party at 2:oo to go to if I can get cleaned up in time.  That will be fun. We are also supposed to be at the church in the afternoon  for a garden clean up day.  What to do,what to do? Should go to the church instead of spending more money.   Speaking of money. When I left work yesterday I looked down when getting into the car and there was folded 10 dollar bill laying on the ground.  No one was parked near me.  I asked the gals here in the office this morning if anyone had lost some money yesterday and they all said no. So I guess I'm $10 richer this morning.   We are planning our fall vacation.  We were doing to go to SC in October but last night we changed our minds and decided to go to Branson MO.  Looks like they have a nice RV park real close to the strip but I think we may drive the car and get one of the hotel packages.  I also want to drive into the Ozarks.  With gas prices the way they are going it will probably be cheaper that way.    Anyone been the Branson and have recommendations on shows to see or things to do? I've heard the Dixie Stampede is good and I think the train ride sounds neat, also.  Since we just decided to go last night I've got a lot of reseach to do before we make our reservations. Better ger to work now.  You all have a nice day!

Jan, you will love Branson, and the Ozarks.  We go there quite often, since my MIL lives there.  Yes, there are several nice campgrounds around the area.  Our personal favorite is Bull Shoals Lake.  It is GORGEOUS!!!  If you go in September, the tourist season is starting to slow down, and that will help alot on traffic.  If you decide to stay in a hotel, make sure you check out Branson's Grand Oaks Hotel and Branson Windmill Inn. There are several others to choose from, but they are both some of the nicest ones there. (At least when we were there last and stayed)  Hope you find something you like.  Also, make sure you take time to "Ride the Ducks" You will have a blast with that! We ALWAYS do that, even if we don't have time for anything else!

Good morning, Sherri and all my other loser friends and soon to be losers.  Today is just Thursday. That is about the only thing that I can say. It is just plain old Thursday. :-) Sometimes days are like that I guess.  It was interesting, yesterday while Bill and I was out on the swing I mentioned to him that we had been through a lot of changes this year and he agreed on that. I said that I thought they were good changes and I was sure that he thought that some was good and some not so good. He agreed with that one too. I asked him what ones he thought was not so good and he wouldn't answer me. I tried to get it out of him and he was like an old mule and wouldn't budge one bit on an answer. I really would like to know what are the ones that he isn't to fond of and I thought that we could talk to each other about them. He sure can be an old goat at times!  Goat 2 I noticed yesterday that the pawn shop down the road from me had an ad that said that they were taking applications. I am going to run down there this morning and put my application in. I think that wouldn't be a bad job and Bill told me that he had no problem with me working there because he thought it was safe. A couple of the places that I wanted to put my application in he said no because they were not safe and he was afraid of a robbery. So I thought that I would get all gussied up and go down and pay them a visit. Please say a special prayer for me~I really need a job! The price of everything is getting so outrageous that Bill's pay is paying the bills and not much more than that. I need to get out there and work not only for that but also for my own sanity! I need to get back out there and be out and among people.  The sun isn't out today. It is a overcast day. I know that they are calling for more rain today but I am not sure what kind and when. I am so tired of rain that I could just puke!!!! Everyones lawns should be wonderful and green since they are getting so much water.  I guess I had better get going. I hope that everyone has a wonderful day and I am sending love and hugs to all. Prayers are going up for everyone and special ones for those in need of them.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.

Sherri, I do hope you hear something soon. Busy few days ahead for me, so I probably won't be on much at all.  Tonight is the survivor dinner for the Relay, and then tomorrow is the actual event! I am so excited, but also, really tired already, and I haven't even had a chance to do anything yet this morning.  Oh well, its ok. It will all be done in the end anyway.  I will be taking lots of pictures at the relay, so expect to see tons posted on my myspace page after its all done and over with! LOL Have a great Thursday!

Good mornin' Sherri I am sorry to hear that you are having problems and are having to wait so long to hear from Gupta. If I would have know you were having such problems maybe you could have taken my place yesterday. I saw her yesterday morning and she did an endospy where the scope is put down your throat. They had to strech my hole from the stomach to the colon. Now I am not nauseated 24/7! I can also eat more than just cream of wheat and edy's sugar free fruit bars. I am to go back sometime next week to have it done again. So good luck and keep us posted!  Lachelle good luck on the Relay for Life walk! Wish I could be there and walk with you but I am not walking good enough for that. I hope you have alot of pledges! TTYL!  And as far as there being alot of changes this year you are so right Brenda! I have lost my best friend ( Snowy my dog ) and my brother and I reconciled and became almost friends, and he is dyong of liver cancer, my husband lost his job in March and hasn't had any luck finding another one and then there is my RNY so I think I have had enough for this year!

Michelle..Thanks for the offer. If only it were that simple though! LOL! I did have an endo last week but still waiting to hear on the pathology report. I'm not rushing that one though cause I know that he (Dr. Fecht) and Dr. Gupta have been staying in close contact. I know you gotta be feeling 100% better after having your stricture taken care of. Check out my profile..I know a few things about those darn things ...lol!! With me, the problems I am having now stems back to October and a huge problem I had then. As one problem is taken care of, we just kinda hope that it will take care of the other out-standing ones as well.  In time...it will... Sherri

Happy Thursday Everyone,

It's been a busy week for me. Had three doc appointments all in Indy this week. Dr Ainhorn for my RSD - no changes, Dr Clark for a fill - his assistant Julie told me she did 30 band fills last week in just ONE DAY. I was like Wholly Crap!!!!!! Got myself a .2 fill. Offically up to 2cc's. Gained dang near 20lbs since my last chemo/radiation treatment six/eight weeks ago. Need to loose about 10-15 to fit in my wedding dress....by Aug. I'll make it *wink* Today I saw Dr Sutton - the doc who found and diagonsised my cancer. Only he wasn't there because he had a heartattack so I saw his PA. Discussed an issue I'm having with my repositioned bladder. Had an MRI and urine culture to see if the sutures ripped during healing and my bladder slipped falling in on itself. So we'll see.

Been working on wedding stuff. Food basically. Final ordering for EVERYTHING. Getting RSVP cards back.... still haven't heard from many of you, though you still have time.

Sherri, I hope you get your issues fixed soon. I mean, for crying out loud you've been dealing with it long enough. A break would be nice by now.

Gail, thanks for the e-cards. Always a bright way to start the day.

Love, Hugs, & Blessings Everyone
