I know we can have sugar free popsicles between meals, and in this summer heat, that's been a wonderful taste treat! What about the creamsicles and fudgesicles, made by Popsicles and both sugar free? I'm 7 weeks out, and tolerating everything just fine, and getting all my liquids and protein in without any trouble at all.

In my opinion I would say try one.  You have to watch the sugar alcohol in that stuff to.  I have had a little SF ice cream and I tolerated it ok.  Just to be on the safe side you might send your nut an email.  I was told that ice cream wasnt counted as a liquid so just be careful.

I was told i could eat them. The ones i get only have 2 gms of sugar in them and only 2 gms of sugar alcohols so to me thats not bad, but I'm am one that doesn't dump on sugars  As long as you aren't counting it for your liquids I would think it would be ok. If in doubt dont hesitate to contact your Nut. they will let ya know for sure.

Oh I hadn't planned to count them towards my liquids...I only count my water and protein supplement for that.  Sugar alcohols...I'm OK up to 6 grams, scared to try any higher than that.  I was able to start on protein bars last week, and the Nut said she'd heard that South Beach and Pure Protein were the best.  The SB bars I looked at had 17 grams of sugar alcohols!! That scared me off, as I had issues with that even before surgery, so I've been sticking with the PP ones and no trouble at all.
