Good Tuesday Morning....
Good morning all. I hope that today is being fantastic to all of you.
The sun is shinning so brightly and the flowers that I have on my shepherd's hook is so bright and verdent in color. They are a lovely purple and with the white pots and the beautiful green leaves it is just lovely. The other bulbs are starting to sprout and the green leaves that are up look so nice. When the flowers come up they are going to be worth waiting for.
Misty is watching the back 40 acres as my dad use to say. Nothing gets past that little girl of mine. She is like a hawk. She is listening to all the birds chirping and singing and flying around. I love my back yard. The grass is so green and the trees are so full and so there is a lot of little birds that make their homes there. We also have sea gulls and boy does Misty watch them. They fly around and make their noise. I love watching them. We take bread out for the birds and sometimes the gulls get it and they fight and steal from each other. They aren't afraid of people and come close to us when we are out on the swing. I guess I am at peace just as much as Misty is. Life is so good today. I pray it stays that way forever. lol
Bill took a cake over to our friends house that I made for them because of the death of his wife. Joan's funeral is tomorrow and so that is what I am going to be doing from 10 until who knows when. I feel so bad that she is gone but it is really a blessing. She was so sick and in and out of the hospital. She got to the point that they were dyalisysing her every day and she couldn't walk or talk. It is a blessing and now she is at peace with her son who passed on the job as a policeman. She missed him so and talked of him often. I could relate to her with the loss of her child. She was a kind and loving soul and very giving. She is now a jewel in the crown and she is shinning brightly. Peace be with her and her husband and sons and their family.
Nothing much is happening today. I am planning on staying home and picking stuff up here. It is a bit lived in looking. If you know what I mean. lol I hate housework too but it must be done because I refuse to live in a messy house. It makes me nervous for some reason. I think it goes back to when I was growning up. Mom was a neat person and to her there a place for everything and everything in it's place. We wiped down the walls every couple of weeks and that is something I never do!!! She is probably rolling around in her grave!!!! lol I remember when she sold the house in Chesterton the realtor said in the ad that Mrs. Clean lives there. She really knew mom on that one!!
I can relate to all who are fighting with the weight not coming off now. I am losing very slowly~like it took me 3 weeks to lose 2 pounds! I have been told by all my doctors that I concentrate to much on numbers and need to stop looking at them. It is hard to do but I am working on it. I am working at looking at the whole picture and not just the scale. The big picture to me is I am losing weight and looking better, but my life is so different and I see things and people so differently. I have started to live my life as I was meant to and not just exsist. God didn't put me on His earth to be miserable and dislike myself. I am now a recipent of a gift that God has handed to me and I have to treat it as something sacred. He has entrusted me with all He has given me and I need to keep my deal with Him and do the best that I can do on earth and to help to spread the good news. That is the things that I am working on right now. Now I will get off my soap box and toddle on!
I am sending love a hugs to everyone along with prayers. Special prayers are being said for those in need. Have a wonderful day and remember you are where you are suppose to be at the moment. Make the best of what you have.
