SUNday Morning!!

Morning all!!! I looked out and it is a SUNNY morning!! YEA!! I am looking forward to heading to Edenburgh tomorrow meeting with some of you people for lunch and some shopping!! I deserve it You deserve it.. Anyone in the Mooresville area want to drive down with me I would be glad to take a carfull!! Just email me.. I will be glad for the company. The swingset we are building for the girls got a little further along yesterday.. soon the girls will have something fun to play on (besides mamaw and papaw) when they come over.. Good Morning, What a sunny morning   I think its suppose to be like this all day. I don't have many plans today. I think my M.O.M. Wilma coming by, I always love seeing her , she 's MY OTHER MOTHER. I talked with Cindy last night grtting ready for the exchange, she going to pick me up. Have I told you all that you all are a true blessing to me. You are, Love to All. Good morning, Linda Kay and all the other Hoosiers Loser's and soon to be losers.  Today is sunny and bright. I had the windows open during the night but Bill must have got hot during the night and turned on the air conditioner. I would much rather have the fresh air. It looks a bit cool this morning but then again that may the reason why the air isn't going on. I have told Bill repeatedly that if he didn't wear his sweats to bed during the summer maybe he wouldn't get hot. haha It makes sense to me but then again......... Yesterday I was so busy. We went to the parade and walked and walked. The parade was nice~at least for the little town of Porter. There is only about 5,300 people in that town. It was one of the towns I grew up in. We lived in Chesterton which is just a smige bit bigger and the neighboring town. My grandparents lived in Porter along with some of my mom's family. My mom and dad rented out our house and we moved in with Grandma and Grandpa so mom and dad could help when Grandpa got really bad with Parkinson's Disease. We lived there for 2 years before we moved back after Grandpa passed away. My church is in Porter since that is the one that I grew up in. So that is why I feel that Porter is just as much my hometown as Chesterton is. Well, back to the sesquicentennial celebration! They had some vendors in the park and we enjoyed that. Bill got a t shirt and I couldn't find one that I liked so I got a historical book of Porter. haha After we left the park we went to the Westchester Township Historical Museum. I enjoyed that so much. We found pictures of my Grandpa there. When the ladies found out that Tom Tucker was our grandfather they wanted us to sign the book as direct decendants but I was to busy looking around to know that so it didn't get done. haha I will be back since that was such a wonderful experience. I wished that I had done it sooner and always wanted to but just never made the time to do it. Bad me! I should go to church this morning but I am so tired from the last 2 busy days of celebrations that I just can't do it. I have been going non stop for the last 2 days and my old body is beginning to catch up with the celebrating. So I just can't seem to get going. I am going to be working up in the office all week and so I figure I will be be up there plenty this week. Maybe not for the same thing but I just can't seem to get going.  Bill is planning on grilling out today. He is wanting to make bacon cheeseburgers. I guess that is alright but mine will be different than mine that's for sure. I have a couple of ears of corn in the refidgerator and so I might get those cleaned and wrapped and on the grill too. Get them out of the fridge and that is a good thing. He certainly is my not lean, not mean, grilling machine that is for sure. haha I better get going. I am sending love and hugs to everyone and my prayers going up for all with special ones going up for those in need of them.

Is this weekend over yet? Omg this has been the longest week.....I work at 3;00 again today. Next week  I am on dayshift. I haven't seen Terry all weekend. He has been at his school group doing all of there projects that are due next week. He got home yesterday right as I was leaving for work and he was out the door by 9;30 this morning.  I am going to the gym today, I haven't been in a while and I have to get back going. I have to sneak off though beacause they don't have daycare on Sundays and Ms. Bella will notice me gone, Poor Tyler!  Have a great SUnday...XOXO Shanna

Good morning all.......yes, I am up already! UGGH!!! I certainly hope I get adjusted soon! LOL I didn't make it up in time for church today, but there is always next week.  I really have missed going. It is gorgeous today, so I think Jimmy and I are going to go swimming at Spring Mill SP again.  It is so nice there, and so worth the 25 minute drive! I may only be 10 minutes from Patoka lake, but there is no comparison!  I work at 9 pm tonight, and I am standing floor tonight, so my evening will be long.  I haven't stood floor yet on swing, so this is going to be an experience.  I am ready for it.   Hopefully I will get out early enough to drive to Edinburg tomorrow morning.  I really would love to get together with everyone and visit some more.  No promises, but I am going to try! Well, it is off to the pool for us now, so I need to start getting everything ready.  Have a wonderful day all, and enjoy your Sunday! TTYL

Hello All.....Sorry I have not posted much lately it has been super hectic around here.   Finally getting things back to normal from our big vacation to Disney.....and we are down to our home study with the Villages for our Foster Parent License.   Thursday we had our annual get together in our dinky little town with a huge pitch in, and then a wonderful display of fireworks.  I started to feel some pressure in my left ear so when we finally got home about 11 I took some Nyquil.....needless to say about 1 I woke to the most annoying pain in my left ear, took some pain medicine and tried to go back to slepp.  I fought back the tears until about 8, and then I told DH that I was heading to the ER, I have not been to the ER since I was a junior in high school.  Well 2 hours later, I have a severe sinus infection, and left ear infection.  Three prescriptions from CVS, and I finally got on my way home.  I thought I would take the day and rest.  But our kids remembered that we had said we would watch fireworks in Tipton.  Nice how they can remember things like that but not their math facts for school?  So i drugged myself up, and off we went...floated through the evening, but my kids were in heaven, and that is what counts.   Saturday I ran a few quick errands, did a little around the house, and then went to lie down, had an invite to a party, but called and said I was down for the count.  Then the kids wanted to go to my best friends pond to fish....once again the kids won.  It was a beautiful night by the fire though. SO....today is a day of lots of rest and medication, and a load of laundry!!!  DH is putting a new stereo in my van with a 10 disc CD changer......now to keep the kids occupied!!!!!
