ANOTHER UPDATE ON HUSBAND'S COUSIN

Here is another update on my husband's cousin! She had her transplants. They gave her a new liver, new kidney (only 1) pancreas, bowel, intestines (small & large) stomach, pretty much everything except heart and lungs. They told us that she would not even probably start waking up until 1 or 2 days after the surgery. She started waking up that night. She had been in surgery for 17 hrs. She was doing really well and then developed some bleeding which they expect and they had to giver her 2-4units of blood and they took her back to surgery. They opened her back up and packed her full of gauze. They took her back to surgery this morning and removed the gauze and the bleeding has stopped. They are going to try and wein her off the ventilator starting today and will hopefully have her off of it by tomorrow. Thank you to all of you who are praying for her and please keep praying. I will keep you updated when I hear more.

I am so glad that things continue to go well. I am keeping my prayers up for her and your family. So far so good. Please continue to keep us posted on how she continues to do. That was a lot of surgery for one person to undergo at one time, let alone having to go in more. May God continue to bless her. She must be some fighter that is for sure.
