I finally got it!

Thank you all for your well wishes.  As I mentioned in a prevous response, there was a little mix up in HR about where the job is supposed to be.  It turns out that I will not be leaving my section after all.  But since I like what I do, I won't mind staying.  Especially since I still get the promotion!  There will be some new responsiblities and there are going to be several other changes on my team, so things will be very hectic around here for the next few months.  Especially since we are heading into year-end and financial statements.  Oh well, what is life without change right?  It keeps things from getting boring!  Have a great day everyone.
