Great plan.  Keep us informed on your progress.  This is the best support group around.  Hang in there.

Thanks everyone for your encouragement.  I did pretty good today.  I had a bowl of bean soup with four saltines at lunch.  Then I even had a protein bar at 3:00.  I haven't worked in breakfast yet but I'm still doing better than I have in a long, long time.  Forgot my tennis shoes so I didn't walk much outside but did take a little break to get some fresh air.  I'm sure once DeniseB gets going good (how much better can she get?  She popped by and saw me today!) we'll be brown bagging it together and can keep each other on the right track.  I'm so glad I finally have someone right here with me!  Day one of the new plan has worked out pretty good.

Let's see how long I can keep it up!

Hope you guys have a good evening.  It's supposed to be another lovely one down here in the south!

Oodles of love,
Jacqui

Jacqui - Hang in there -- you can do this.  I think you hit the nail on the head when you said that those of us who are givers, tend to give to everyone else first and put ourselves last.  Well, now that we have had surgery we need to pamper ourselves to take care of ourselves to the best of our ability.  I am anxious to see how much better you will be feeling with the added intake of protein.  Keep up the good work.  Karen
