I have really got to stop
weighing myself every day. It's discouraging.
I lost 10 pounds in the preop diet.....and lost 9 pounds in the first week, but for the last 3 days, I have been at a stall. I can't seem to lose. I walked for a total of about 2 1/2 hours yesterday, and ate what I was supposed to, got it the 70 + grams of protien and took my vitamins and I'm at a stall only a week out of surgery. I know if I would just stop weighing myself, things would be easier, but I feel like I deserve to lose it since I am doing everything that I am supposed to. Sorry for the neurotic rant, but did anyone else experience a stall only 7 days out of surgery?

I left the hospital almost 25 pounds heavier! Took me a week to get it off........Don't worry, it will start up again, your body is just adjusting! You will most likely stall at 3 weeks out and 3 months out and I am in stalled right now at 5 months out! almost 3 weeks. Hang in there!

I MY RNY!
I lost about 15 lbs in the firs ten days after surgery and then stopped!!! I didnt' lose again for about 3 weeks. I lost lots of inches during this time but the scale was stuck. I got very discouraged and depressed and finally had to take my scales and hide them upstairs in my sons closet so they were out of sight. I am losing steady now about 3 lbs a week, slower than most I think but at least I the scale is heading in the right direction.
