Glad you are feeling more positive!

What group did you go to?  I am not too far from Evansville.

It's a support group in Evansville that meets monthly.  The dates are strange and go back and forth between St. Mary's and Deaconess Hospitals.  The one I attended Monday was in the basement of St. Mary's in room 3.  Next month's meeting will be on Oct. 15 at Deaconess Hospital's Health Science Building by the old hospital.  All the meetings start at 6:30 p.m. and last until 8:00 p.m.  I think two others from this board are going with me next month.  It will be great if you can come along!

Jacqui...Isn't it a great motivator to get to actually sit and talk and compare "war stories" with others and share your journeys with pre-ops. I think that is why I love my support group so much. We are not only there as a group but have started having a monthly get together as well! We have become steadfast friends and always open our arms to others. It is the first time in my life I felt like someone truly did know what I was going through! Congrats on your new journey! i WISH THE BEST FOR YOU!   It is so uplifting to hear positive things that others have encountered. Yeah Jacqui!!!!

I had no idea how badly I was needing this.  It's changed my whole outlook.  Guess that's why the ones who attend support groups are the ones with the greatest success stories!  I'm just glad I finally found one.  I know I'm going to love it even more after a few sessions.
