I met "Terlyn" today!!

Just wanted to say that we met Terlyn today aka Terry and hubby Lyn. Super nice couple..so glad Joe and I got to meet them!!!!!!!(in between visits @ St V's)

Thanks Connie--we were so happy to see you.  Wish we would have had longer to talk.  Next time I won't forget your phone number.  Need to put that in my phone right now. 

Just another proof that this is a great support place---great to "talk" to everyone on line and then really exciting when you get to meet in person.

It was a great day and the first official day on our journey.  Now the waiting begins as we wait on the insurance.  UGH

Yes, we were!!! Joe and I were sitting second row from front on the right side!!!! We missed you!! Where were you?

Terry and her husband had their consult from 1-4 so we met them after our class.

Ah--we need to get better at meeting.  And you and I just live about 20 minutes apart I think---think you are the closest person to me.

Connie and I had talked about meeting and then I forgot to take her cell phone number with me.  SOOO we were waiting to see Dr Huse and I kinda just stalked people as they got off the elevator. 

In fact, Connie I didn't tell you this, but ok I will confess that there were 3 other men and women couples and as they walked by I discreetly said, "Connie".  Well OK--I got some weird looks but hey I wanted to see you.  BUT THEN I got smart and thought----no since COnnie and Joe are BOTH having surgery, they will each have a box of whatver you had from your class, think yours was in a bag though.

Anyway when Joe got off the elevator and then Connie we just sorta knew.

I would have loved to have met you too---maybe next time, I am sure we will be up there a lot.

connie-  i was sitting about the 3rd row back on the left.  the very last person.  i was sitting by a guy who has the same date as me.  i was actually sitting by his wife.  they are from the same place i am from.  i saw you guys, but wasnt even thinking!!!  i was there yesterday for my pre-op test... haev you guys done that yet???

terry-  sorry i didnt get to see you.  if you were down by the elevators you may have seen my dad.  he was waiting down there for me most of the time.  (he had surgery 2 years ago)

anyway... hopefully we can meet again!!
