I am in tears

Bella decided today while terry was watching her to get into my linen closet in my bathroom get out the scissors and cut 1/2 her hair off! On one side! She is at the salon right now trying to get it fixed! :(

Oh my!  I know it's not funny now, but it makes great memories to embarrass her with in front of a date - trust me!  My daughter chopped her bangs up to her hairline just a day or two before nursery school photo day! 

So sorry but they all seem to do it!! It is funny when they get much older--- Not so much now....
Bet she will be cute with short hair and think how quick it will dry!!!

When my son was 5 I was babysitting for my roommates little girl who was 2.  The little girl had blond curls that came to her waistline.  I wasn'****ching them closely and my son cut the little girls hair off up to her ears. OH my were her parents upset with the kids and with me.

When my granddaughter was 2 she cut off her curls so short that she had to go to the barber shop and get a buzz cut.  She looked pathetic like a cancer patient. 

Moral of the story is .... ugh she is not the first, nor will she be the last.  Its hair, it will grow back.  I promise one day you will look back and laugh!

I know, She HAD long brown curls, though. Down past her shouders. Now it's a pixie cut. But it's pretty cute. I will take pics. and post. Thank shanna

Shanna, I know it breaks your heart at the moment.  My girls were 5 and 3 and were going to be flower girls for my best friend's wedding.  She had special hair ribbons made for them.  10 days before the wedding my 3 yr old decided to cut her hair.  She pulled her long curls around to the front of her head and just chopped at random.  She also cut her bangs all the way to her scalp.  There wasn't much they could do to save her haircut.  She looked pitiful at the wedding.  But it is still one of the funniest memories she has NOW.  Kids will be kids. 

I bet she is still cute as a button with her short hair.

She's just at that age I think. Both my nieces in KY ended up cutting their own hair at her age or younger. Crazy kids LOL.

Oh dear. My kids would work on the pets more than themselves. I remember a couple of times we found the cat's whiskers cut off. And Mikey used to like to marker on the cat. I guess a white cat is a tempting palate.

Yep, she's right at that tender age where for some reason scissors are such the attraction.  May her long luscious curls grow quickly and be back before you know it! 

Makes ya want to puke doesnt it?? My grandson just did the same thing and his mommy buzzed him... I hate iot when she buzzes him.. sigh..
