I'm 2+ months out and have only lost 27lbs  I was 100 lbs over to begin with. I just thought I'd loose more by now. I've been at a standstill for a couple of weeks now. I workout at the gym every other day and walk the other days. I go back to the doc and nut next week, I can't wait. I feel like I'll be the first person that this does'nt work for. Like I'll loose 27 and that will be it.
      Thanks for letting me vent

Obviously talk to the dietitians and Dr C when you go back but I promise you that your doing fine. Chances are your losing inches (pull out a tape measure and check) or building muscle which means that it won't reflect on the scale. Keep your head up it's just a tiny stall.

Please don't be discouraged.  I only lost 25 pounds in the first two months after my surgery.  I seemed to be a slow loser, but eventually off came over 100+ pounds.  Hang in there kiddo.  You'll make it!

I too was a slow loser.  I was at a stand still for a month after my surgery.  I had only lost 20 pounds and then did not lose any for a month.  I started getting on the scales once a week and that helped a lot.  I am six months out now and I have lost over 120+ pounds.  It will pick up, I promise.  I got discouraged too, but you just have to be patient.  One thing someone told me was, "you did not gain all that weight overnight, and you sure can't expect to lose it all in one night!"  Good luck to you and hang in there.

Don’t ever let anyone take for granted the beauty that is within you. Stand firm and know that you’re a wonderful person. Always remember your value and respect yourself. On a positvie note, slow losers give their skin more time to recup.  You might have less saggy skin.  And as we all know....losing slower is healthier.  I know it still sucks...but try to keep your head up!

I am right there with you, my surgery was 7/23 and since that day I have lost 28 lbs.  I discussed this with my surgeon at my last visit and he explained that we all lose at different rates and STOP talking to other patients about how much weight we have lost.  He was pleased with my weight loss and also said that since I had around 100 lbs to lose on my day of surgery I would be considered a lightweight and could expect to lose at a slower rate than most.  Not the news I wanted to hear but at least I know what to expect.  I have stopped going to the main board here on OH and reading about everyone else's weight loss because I get too wrapped up in it.  I also have removed the scale from my bathroom, I only weigh on Fridays now when I go to Curves.  I have faith that the surgery will work for me so I just gotta put on my big girl panties and accept that it will come in time.........just not the time I thought it would.
