how do you measure "casserole" type dishes?

Hello all!  Hope everyone is having a fabulous day!

Just curious about how I would measure a casserole.  Something with Chicken and veggies all mixed together. 

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated!

Everything should be measured by volume, you should probably try and pick around and eat the protein first still though before you try the veggies and what not.

Most of my foods are so much better tolerated if I continue to give them a quick whirl in the food processor.  Not necessarily to the point of puree but chopped.  I tried to not skip this step the other day and got a peice of brocolli stuck ..ouchhhhhh.  After I give em a whirl I measure 1/2 cup and put it on a small plate/ small bowl.
