TGIF!!!!
Yeah! It is Friday again. What a crazy week. My teaching assistant will be out today so I have a sub coming in so the craziness isn't over yet. Hopefully the day will go smoothly. I have a busy weekend planned. Emily goes to her dad's for the weekend so hopefully I can get a lot done. The garage is the pitts and there is no way to park inside. My goal is to be in there by Sunday night. Wish me luck. Emily is going first to Cheerleading Camp from 9-12 on Sat. am. before she goes to her dad's. Normally he gets her on Friday night, but he was willing to let her go to the Cheering activity. So Micah will take her to the school before 9 and then will get an early start with the books. Then I will pick Em up and take her to meet her dad. The house is so different without her paddling around (age 7). She does pretty well entertaining herself for the most part, but I just seem to get so much more done on the weekends when she is gone.
I have a lot of clothes to go through to get ready for next weekend. I am also bringing some small containers that hold only 2 ounces. I used them when I first had my surgery and they were so handy. I was thinking that a newbie or soon to have surgery person could use them.
I hope everyone is doing well. My heart goes out to the gal whose husband threw her out. Sweetheart - get a good lawyer and take him to the cleaners.

Tonight is a football game, Saturday I have to work, and then it is off to the party for the wedding couple. We are planning on staying out there....they have enough room for everyone to camp out, and that is what they are wanting, so no one has to worry about leaving..........and then on Sunday there is church, lunch at Hubers, and then back to the wedding in Jasper. Talk about a busy weekend. Good thing is, it is well worth it!

Been at work for an hour now. Went last night and met up with 3 other previous co-workers from my old job. We laughed and had a good time. Catching up is always fun.
Leaving around 5 or 6 in the morning to head down to KY to my aunts, then will see some of you at Huber's on Sunday (cant wait).

Karen- Happy cleaning this weekend! That is a good idea for the 2 oz containers for someone else to use. I am sure they are handy.

I have an interview this afternoon for a temporary job, so keep your fingers crossed for me. I dont know much about it, its with an agency my sister uses so will know more this evening I hope. Even though it is a temp job I am hoping it will last long enough to help us get through the holiday's. I have sent out a ton of resume's lately and even applied at fast food places and so far have had only one interview..ugh.
I am getting so excited to come to the clothing exchange and meet everyone. I look so forward to reading about everyone and how you all are doing each day. I have'nt decided what dish I will bring but I have 3 or 4 options in mind.

I am off work today, YEAH! School is out and I have a follow up appt with my surgeon on my eye surgery! Probably will be having yet another surgery! I should know by this afternoon! I still am having issues and nothing has gotten any better so in this case, time did not change, anything! Keep your fingers crossed for me and say a little prayer- for those that believe!
I hope all is going well on everyones journies! If you are struggling and are hitting a few bumps, please know that all of our journies have their own paths and sometimes this too may happen! We are here for ya and are ready to support anyone that needs it! For those just searching, keep up the research and know that many have had no complications and would do it again in a minute and feel that this is the best thing that they have ever done for themselves and are living a much healthier life! For those of you doing awesome, GREAT JOB - Keep up the great journey!

Don't you all just love Fridays? I know I do...especially now that I'm off on them! 
Of course, they are even better if I don't have any medical tests or stuff to do. The only thing I HAVE to do today is go buy a new gas cap for my durango. My engine light came back on yesterday so I checked it and it was real wobbly. I tried to tighten it on several times and after about the 5th or 6th time of messing with it, I finally got it on tight enough for the engine light to go off. I am guessing that the rubber seal is getting too worn to seal properly. So...a quick run to Autozone should fix it right up! As high as gas is? I'm not gonna let even the fumes escape! LOL!
We stopped and got lottery tickets last night. I'm a sucker for scratch-offs. I spent $39 total ($25 cash, $14 from turning in winning tickets). $10 of that was for Mix & Match which will be drawn tonight. So..of the remaining $29...when I scratched them off, I won $68! Woo-hoo! I love it when I win more than I spend! LOL! I don't bother with the Lotto or Powerball. I NEVER win anything at all with either of them. With M&M I usually at least get a free ticket but I have won ~$30 from it in the past so I'm still willing to try it.
Linda Kay...do you have any idea what time the festivities will be down the road from you? What time do you plan on having your yard sale? Both start tomorrow (not today), right? I don't think Bill is planning on going with me but either way, we're gonna swing by and pick up Gail so she can enjoy the festivities too.
Janene...any word on when Mark is going to fly in? Would you prefer dinner before his flight arrives (~4:30) or afterwards (~7:30)? If Gail & I (and maybe Bill) are still out & about around that time, we can meet you at Indy's. Hey..someone on the SW side of town...can you post directions on how to get there from the airport for Janene? The address there is 2544 S Lynhurst Dr, 46241 if you want to Mapquest it. Anyone else want to join us?
I have to pull up the rest of my tomatoe plants that the hail destroyed last week. I did the ones in the front garden last weekend so they could be drying up (easier to bag up for the garbage man that way). Thank goodness they don't have deep or strong roots or it would be 'oh honey....'. These I can handle though. We are talking about having a LARGE garden next year. I know I want to do my herb beds a little different next year too. jee**** just turned 'fall' and I'm already talking about NEXT summer! LOL!
Bill finally got his chest x-ray done last night. The girl at the registration desk (Community East) and I got to talking and she was telling me how she lost ~30-35 lbs. As we talked, I learned that she also has PCOS so she's trying to lose to help with the symptoms. She's on glucaphage for the insulin resistance, has the tale-tell chin hairs, has messed up periods, gets cists on her ovaries...shoot, basically where I was starting ~25 years ago. I gave her one of my OH cards so I hope Frankie checks us out. She's trying to lose the wait without surgery so we talked abit about lifestyle changes. I do hope she comes on here.

Morning to all! I had a great day yesterday and still floating on clouds today! I got a fill yesterday (1cc) and also got weighed and had lost 10 pounds since I was there 4 weeks ago! Yeah! My band is finally working with me in this journey rather than against me! I am so so happy! He did not want to do another fill since I had had loss, but understood that I am frustrated from having 8 months without a working band and am a little impatient now. He gave me the adjustment and I can actually feel alittle restriction today! Hope it lasts! Hope everyone has a great day and if you need a (((hug))), there ya go. Prayers and best wishes to those who may need or want. Enjoy the day folks...its another beautiful one!

i was only at work 3 days this week, but the other 2 days i was at st v!! and it makes for a long day, when you have to be in a car 4-5 hours!!! but i am super tired, and feeling like crap today. i think everything i****ting me at once!!! anyway... i only have 3 more days left of work, before surgery! i decided to go ahead and take the day before surgery off as well, to spend with my little girl (bentley). this weekend i am getting a haircut and playing bunco tonight, tomorrow going to a little festival, and then i havent decided if i am going to do emmaus stuff, or go to my 10 year class reunion. sunday, after church, we are having a bday party for like 5 people who have bdays in sept, and then back to work on monday. next tuesday i should be getting the phone and internet hooked up at our new house! i am excited!!!

Well. seems like I got out of my funk...but I still have a ways to go. I reckon I have to learn NOT to feel guilty about ME now...and I am NOT a doormat for the family anymore! AND that does NOT mean I am a mean b...h since I have lost weight. It really sucks to find out exactly what your family REALLY thinks of you....talk about a blow-up and an eye-opener.
Relations are still strained between my mom, sis and me...but I did contact them FIRST ...I feel like God will forgive..but you have to ask for it! So I have asked both for forgiveness...they have not..they still feel was all my fault. All over me not wanting to do something for them. So I am a mean b...h now.
OH WELL....back to sunny thoughts...
