Sorry you are going through some rough times right now.  It's great that you are talking to others about it, sometimes that helps more than anything.  Don't worry about being supportive for anyone else...just take care of YOU!  No apologies necessary.  We want you to be happy, and healthy and feel supported by everyone here just as you have done for so many others.

I second what Shanna said.  I love the new avatar.  Can't wait to see the new hair color!

Change comes and at times comes in  a way we do not or did not expect.  Being able to accept the change as it is can be a hard nut to crack.  There are days I see myself in a reflection and wonder who it is.  There are days that I see pictures of my former self and cry that I allowed myself to get that big.  There are days I can eat more then I should and then worry and argue with myself about staying in control.  Depression hurts and is real.
People can help but I need to take ownership of my feelings and then make the changes necessary to modify them to a positive level. 

I have been offline for awhile because of the need to reach out to others and this outreach has taken an immense amount of time.  I am trying to re-balance my life to allow for multiple things that bless both me and others. 

You will make it.  Things that are close look overwhelming but the big picture is our goal.  It is after the struggle that we grow the most.

Misty I am sorry you are having such a rough time of it. I am also dealing with some issues and having trouble dealing with things. I know that sometime it will have to get better. But trying to convience myself is almost impossible. I would just like to crawl in bed and never get back out! Here is hoping that the Psychiatrist is as smart as you are and gets thing figured out fast! I miss you on the chatroom. If you ever need anything let me know, I am a good listener if you need one! Good Luck! Lots of people on here that think the world of you and would do anything to help. Misty - Sorry I am several days late in responding to your post.  My life has been really hectic and has not had much time to log on.  You have been in my prayers.  Now that I know you are having a rough time, I can pray more specifically.  You did the right thing by admitting you needed some help and are getting it.  Sometimes it's that first step that is the hardest.  You need to just take care of yourself at this time.  We are all here for you and are willing to help in any way that we can.  Sometimes you need a shoulder to cry on, or you just need to be able to vent.  We will supply whatever you need, in the meantime, I will be praying for you.  Karen
