Thanks Everybody for the prayers.....We are back. Everything went fine. He was in postop room for about 2 hours though because of the pain. They gave him some pain medicine. My husband NEVER takes pain meds....EVER and hardle ever takes Tylenol unless he is hurtin' Bad! Well he needed something. He has cotton balls in his ears because they are seeping......YUCKO! It is quite disgusting. They Docs. couldn't believe how bad they were. Seriuosly I almost lost my lunch. He's been napping in and out on the way home. He has never been under, so He is really groggy. Need to get dinner in the over. Talk to you Later 

So glad to hear that things went smoothly! I know it is a relief now to have him back home, and resting comfortably after a procedure.  I am sure he will be feeling better in no time at all, and I know you will be glad that he is too.  There is nothing worse to deal with than a grown man who is sick!  I swear some of them are bigger babies than our own babies are! LOL  Take care!

Glad to hear all went well and he is on the mend. Drainage is a good sign! You will have a quiet evening with Bella then....maybe girl night at the movies! (Rent a dvd or somthing)

Already ahead of you on that one...One the way home fromt he hospital we bought her a spongebob dvd w/ like 7 episodes on it. She has turned into a SB freak since we got Direct tv a couple weeks ago. LOl

Glad hubby is home and resting.  My daughter has had two sets of tubes.  She got her first ones in when she was 1 and had the second set put in when she was in kindergarten.  The last set just fell out over the summer.  I personally think they are miracle workers!  I wish Troy would consider getting them because he has constant ear infections. 

I know the drainage is gross but it really is a good sign.  That's all the fluid that was built up behind his eardrum.  Once it all comes out, it won't be as noticable.  I don't know if adults are told this or not but make sure he uses ear plugs when in a hot tub or swimming in a hotel pool or lake.  The passageway for the fluid to pass through is also a great way for infection to get in.  My daughter's ENT never made us plug up her ears for showers though.  Said it was clean water and wouldn't cause problems.  It never did.

Hope he's feeling better soon.  It could take a couple of days for the anesthesia to wear off.
