Thanks Julie. My husband and I could use some work on our marriage, especially before the stress of my surgery occurs. I look forward to it!

Hi Everyone,
Busy as ever- going to take care of twins then home to make chili for supper & on to exercise with my Trainer. WOW- she has me lifting 35# now- and I couldn't lift 5# at first! plus we are now moving on to new routines since I have alittle muscle strength. I just hope my Fibromyalga stays calm with winter coming- that is when it gets the worse!!!! I froze all day yesterday- burr!!!!

Penny's surgery didn't go as planned- they got in there and found she is full of Endrometrius and has alot of lesions, scar tissue and the cyst is in the tube. PLEASE be in prayer for her/them. They are going to schedule her surgery for the 10th of Nov. and she will be off work for 4-6 weeks. SHE is the breadwinner of the family and I don't know what will happen with the holidays coming up, bills, etc. We got pretty tapped out from the move to/back home from Fla. and so did his parents. He is working at Lowe's and on the weekend as a County Policeman. I canceled my trip to Nashville to be here with them/her. I know what I went thru the first few weeks after mine, & couldn't have gotten thru it all without my hubby's grandma & sister.

LaChelle- hope Jimmy can find something that he can do soon happily soon. Sometimes our integrity has to come before our income. Don't be discouraged, God has a plan! So glad your friends had ins. for their fire & you there to support them.
Sherri- hoping for good news soon for you- tell Bill we hope he's feeling better, & your MIl is up and around soon.
Linda V. Hope you get good news from Dr. Grasse- maybe having your PS. alittle at a time is the way it is suppose to be. It will give you time to save up for the next round- & recuperate.
It seems hard times are on us all- maybe we will have to tighten our belts and have old fashioned Christmas- homemade gifts! I know I treasure anything my family has made for me-my fridge is covered with pictures, magnets, etc. Lets get creative! We are on a very limited income with no money for extras- eating out, movies, surprises, but are making it. I think too often we look at the TV commercials and think " oh, I have to have that" and not, "oh, what can I do with what I have- what can I give away?" OK, I'll get off my soap box!!!

Got to go- have a great day everyone- keep the faith that life will/ does get better! Sending prayers out for all those who need them and love. We are blessed because we are free, have a warm home, food on the table and God  preached in our land!

Yes it is getting colder.  I had to put on my insulated sweatshirt and gloves when I went out to the barn this morning.  I had to be at work an hour early for a meeting this moring.  It was so hard to roll out of that nice warm bedWork has been busier today than the rest of the week.  That is unusual for a Thurs.  We have rain in the forcast for the next three days but that is OK wiht me.  I have a lot to do inside. Plus I want to play with my new toy.. Our 33 anniversary was last week and my DH got me the Cricut ( a die cutter for scrapbooking) I just got a cartridge in the mail today that I bought through e-bay on Monday. I can't wait to get home and play with it tonight.

Well I need to get a movin and get some stuff done before lunch.  Have a good day all.

Good Morning/Day Everyone,

Catching up on housework and doing things with Q. One of the toys that he got for his 1st birthday is an interactive game that has a motioned sensored pony that he has to sit on...... so we've been doing that. He loves it. If anyone has little ones to buy for this Christmas between the ages of 1-3.... you should consider this. It's called Smart Bounce & Spin Pony. Also... Fisher Prices's Little Superstar is a great one too.

Saturday is the Fall Classic for Special Olympics. County teams from all over the area come to Hamilton SouthEastern High School for flagfootball, volleyball, and unfied relay swimming competions. It's an all day event. Both Gage and Matt are competing in volleyball.

I can't remember if I posted it on here or not... but I got a letter earlier this week from my oncologist. I'm offically Cancer Free. The next step is to be one of the 30% that make it past the recurrence within 24 months.... I'm pretty sure that will be me.

Well off I go.... today is Q's mommy and me yoga class.

Oh.. P.S. - my band has been completely empty for 3 1/2 weeks now... and yes I've gained weight... almost 15 lbs. I'm very embrassed about the whole situtation. However, next Tuesday I go for a barium swallow to see if the empaction of food is gone and if the dilation has resolved it's self. If so.... I get to finally start having my band refilled.

Hi all,
It's noon. I have been to the gym with my personal trainer workout this morning...whew it was a good one, too. Ty has foot ball practice at 240, So I am going into work early....That will help my hours.
Terry is still working on getting Ty's car going. We have had the speakers rewired and a new stereo put in. Terry is working on the brake lines and replaced a few inside things that were cracked or broke. We are still waiting ont he title from his DAD so we can get it Titled and plated...GRRR. So I don't have to run him everywhere. But its much easier now that he has his license and can use our vehicles.
Other than that not much else going on. I spoke to Andrea's daughter yesterday and she was wheeled into surgery about 130. I called again last night about 645 and she was still out. Tom her hubby said everything went great and was just over an hour. So we have a new losers. Her anme is Andrea. She doesn't post much but I am sure she will now that she is a postop.

Have a great day...
Lachelle: Hope your hubby has luck finding another job.
Jo: Yeah cancer Free! Rock On!

Hi everyone.  Here I sit being miserable....   I've been so tired lately that I fall asleep at my desk at work.  That's not good.  Tuesday morning I woke up feeling generally bad.  Got to work, and was running a low grade fever off and on with a screaming headache.  I apparently was white as a sheet, and went home early.  I stayed home yesterday also, and went to the doctor.

Turns out I have a virus of some sort that ha**** me harder than most due to the diabetes.  I was ordered by the doc to stay off work till Monday, and get plenty of rest.  Needless to say, I am not my boss' favorite person right now - I'm a supervisor, and she is not happy when I'm not there.

Soooo - I am home, alternating between fever and sweats, and worried about work.  My boss was on the phone to me several times yesterday.  She hasn't called yet today, but probably will soon!  LOL

Anyway, the thumping noise you hear is my butt dragging.

Hope for everyone that today brings you exactly what you want and need.

JO---Congratulations on being cancer free!  That is fantastic!  What a blessing.

Hello to the new gal...I forgot to look at your name.  I suck.  I don't know what ZooBoo is...but I can guess by the name.  Sounds fun.

Good Afternoon!  I was up this morning and thought about posting but didn't.  At that point I had grand plans for the day!  My dog got me up at 6:30.  I gave in this morning and took them all out.  I thought I would be nice and let them go out without their leashes....so I got dressed and went out with them.  They all took off in different directions!  I was NOT happy.  I need to call that dog whisperer.

No dialysis today either.  Well, yesterday I had to go in the afternoon.  But today we are taking a day off.  We can't do that often so it was nice.  I went back to bed and slept some.  It was nice.

After my terrible Cymbalta issue yesterday I still can't eat.   I'd call Dr. Cacucci but I don't find her pleasant or very useful.   If she "defers to my PCP" again I am going to scream!  I thought about going to the ER yesterday b/c it hurt so bad.  I don't know what I am going to do?  I've been getting in lots of fluids and have a shake in the freezer now.  I got some new samples of protein in the mail today.   I still can't find one I can tolerate.  I have a banana cream one getting extra cold.  I did manage to get 1/2 of a protein bar down.  But even the liquids feel funny.  Its like my pouch is SORE after the Cymbalta episode yesterday.  That which does not kill us....

I hope that everyone has had a good day.  I will pray for JOBS for EVERYONE.  My DH (by the way, does this stand for DEAR HUSBAND?  Man, I hope so.) and I are very blessed.  He has a good job and we have limited debt (no mortgate b/c my Dad gave us our house for our wedding).  But even with that we feel the strain of the economy.

We have been offering 10K to anyone that will keep Gaggy til Jan.2, 2009!!!!!  You have to be nice to her though...which sounds easy until she is yelling at you b/c the bananas that you bought are TOO BIG!

Good day all!  It's great to get to know you guys!

Hi Jen, wanted to let you know your screen name reminds me of an old friend each time I see it.
Her name is/was Candy Kane. (for real)  I haven't seen her in years and often wonder where she is.  Last I heard from her she was in California.
