calling all 5 day pouch testers
Okay, day three and so far I haven't been doing very well. I have come to realize just how much mindless grazing has crept back in to my daily life. Why is it the old habits come back two years later. I did fine without that junk now it seems I crave it.
I did okay most of yesterday with protein shakes and the soup for lunch. Then blew it completely with popcorn. Seems like I am determined to fail at this and I don't like it. So, I'll try again today and go from here.
I have to admit that I don't like telling you all how bad I am, but figure it's the only way to possibly get back on track by admitting how far off base I have gotten. I hope you don't think badly of me. I will keep trying.
Well Im still in. I had crazy headaches all day yesterday and all night. I had two different protien shakes yestereday. One Atkins and one new one my husband got for me at Walmart. Then last night I had a bowl of bean soup. Im down 9 lbs but I think if I hadnt spent all day yesterday in bed with these Headaches I could have done better ....burnt a few more calories.
Cravings have not been to bad but I totally understand what Jules is talking about when it comes to grabbing for snacks. Ive wanted my cheese crackers with peanutbutter and popcorn so bad. Just good for me I dont keep them in easy places to get to. So by the time I get to them....I remember I cant have them.
Today Im looking forward to my fish!!!

How is everything going ladies??
I have done great so far. I had 2 protein shakes yesterday, 3 liters of water and a piece of broiled salmon. I did end up having a pack of cheese crackers. However, Im down over 10 lbs and my husband was worried I was to deep in ketosis....my breath was horrible even after I would brush....
Today I had some cheese this morning and Im heading home to bed in an hr so Im sure the only thing I'll have will be more water if anything. Looking forward to hearing how u all are doing now.
This has been a good thing to do before the holidays to detox. I feel so much better and really do feel thinner.

I am still trying. Just can't seem to hang on for the whole day. Afternoons/evenings are the worst. BUT I will keep doing it until I get it right. I have at least 20 pounds to lose that I've gained this year. So I will continue on with this and just loop it until I can do it right.

i slept in today kids are on fall break...
no snackin so far for me...but last night i made some juicy tender chicken and i had about 2 oz....and i felt awful for it.....wow the guilt i have now.....after eating something that actually wasn't bad for me....

Dont feel quilty...it was protein!! I think u are doing awesome. Im glad u and Jules have stayed in this with me. I really needed this. Jules stick with it. Its amazing how we can be so grateful for our tool and then take it for granted. I know I have.
Today Im feeling so much energy. I think that diet pop was zapping my energy. I feel so brisk and alive with a spring in my step. Its amazing how much those carbs can bring us down. I didnt realize how bad my habits slowly slipping back in were getting me down.
