Five Day Pouch Testers! How's it going?

Well it's day 5 and I feel great.  I've been really busy this week but I have stuck to the program.  The result?  I've lost 3 lbs this week and my pouch is small again.  I don't think it was ever big but I can definitely tell it shrunk.  I fixed ground turkey burgers last night and wow!  I was stuffed after a few bites.  I'm sure today will be the same since the food will be even more solid. 

I'm really glad I did this.  I don't eat a lot of carbs but this has forced me to really take a look at what I put in my mouth.  I've just gone back to the basics with "protein first" and have gotten more protein in this week than ever before!

Can't wait to hear how the rest of you did!

Way to get back on track. Congrats on your WL this week. I have never tried the 5 day pouch test.

Im so glad I did it too.  I havent been doing well for months, and my eathing habits were suffering.  I lost 12.5 lbs this week and feel great.  I havent eaten to many solids but I plan to keep on this for a few more days if possible.

I do have to go out of state tomorrow to visit my dad who had surgery on Thur so it may be a bit harder to live on liguids at my moms house and all her good cooking but Im gonna try to stay on fish and protien drinks and cheese.

If it wasnt for doing this I just wondered where I would have ended up with all the Halloween Candy.  I thank God I didnt touch one piece of it!!!!

HI! I started a new job and I am in training. It is a call center and they had some Halloween candy and I tried some. OMG!! I ate a thing of smarties which I used to love and did I pay up for it! Puking in the bathroom stall! OMG!! Not going to do that again. I can see that I am going to have trouble with the grazing while just sitting at a desk and talking on the phone! Does anyone have any ideas for good snacks for this job? Today we had a pitch in so I took something that I could have and I just had a little dab of some of the other things but now I feel like I have gained 10 lbs at least. Help me out with ideas of things that I can take to snack on while the candy bowl is going around, please.

Okay, day 5 is over and I didn't do very well on the test.  I realized how carb addicted I have become again.  I am hoping that being aware of it will help me in the future.  I did lose a couple of pounds.  If I had followed the test closely I'm sure I would have lost more.  I am going to give it another try and see what happens this time.  Congratulations to those of you who did well and lost weight.  I'll be there too, it will just take time.

Im going to do this again starting on Friday of this week.  I didnt enjoy much doing it during the week...so Im gonna start on Thrusday or Friday and do it over the weekend.  The only problem I had was about day 3 or 4 I was getting constipated from all the cheese I was eating.  I went to Italian market today and stocked up on chicken and turkey and about 5 cheese....so I wont be doing to bad before I start my 2 days of liquids again.  Im thinking if I do 2 days of liquids about once a month....that might be a pretty good thing....I'll let u all know
