Be encouraged, Joe! You will be so glad you did this. The first week is the hardest, then it just gets better and better. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

Lifting you up,
Jenny

Joe,

What's the last name?  We'd be happy to come visit you but sometimes they won't give out your room number without the last name.  Email Floyd with your info for the directory too.  He's working on it now.   [email protected]

Thanks,

Brenda

Joe, I hope that you get to read this before you leave for the hospital. I will keep you in my prayers for a safe surgery and quick and pain free recovery. I will be keeping the doctors and nurses in prayers too.

I know that you are fearful but know that we all were before the big day came. I remember thinking as I was walking out the door to go to the hospital that I could do this on my own. Now mind you I was 53 years old and never able to do it before so what was going to be so different then was beyond me. Once I got to the hospital things went so fast that I never had time to think about it again. I am like everyone else and would have it done again in a heartbeat. I love my new life and it just keeps getting better and better. Keep sipping and walking and take your chap stick for the dry lips and keep your eye on the prize~the new you and the wonderful experiences that you will be having.

We will be scooting over for your spot on the bench. Welcome aboard the bench~it is a comfy place to sit and company is fantastic.

It's not what you gather, but what you scatter
that tells what kind of life you have lived.
