Getting To Know You

1.  I was uncertain of both and just trust God to be in control.
2.  You are going to think I am crazy but with five children my favorite writer has to be J.K Rowling, love the Harry Potter series and then of course Dr. Suess
3.  TV buy my garden tub would be nice I could watch my DVR taped shows!

It's almost FRIDAY!!!!

Kinda late but wanted to jump in.

1.How do you feel about the outcome of the election?

I did not vote for him for various reasons, none of which was racial.  But he is my president and I will support him.  As has been said earlier, God is in control anyway.

2. Favority Book and/or Author?

Karen Kingsbury, Janet Evanovich, Dee Henderson, Faye & Jonathan Keller's Decker Series

3.This is a big contervsary topic in our house..... Should there be a tv in the bathroom?

Uh, no!  Books yes, tv is pushing it a bit.

I am pleased to say I voted for the winner and for change.

Ooh - I'm a Stephen King fan from way back.  Just finished Duma Key (you're gonna love it, Sherri!!)  The Stand is my absolute favorite - followed very, very closely by Rose Madder.

3.This is a big contervsary topic in our house..... Should there be a tv in the bathroom?

Oh good grief, NO!  That's the only place I can get some peace and quiet and read!  If there was a TV in there, the guys would never leave.

1.    I am so sick and tired of hearing people say that Obama is going to be shot and killed.   Did anyone say that when the other 43 previous presidents were elected?   Give me a break.   How about saying that you pray that God keeps him safe so that we can have a better 4 years than the past 8 years of he!! we have experienced?  Our ecomony is in shambles.  Heard the latest about the Indiana economy?     My job has laid off over 1000 people in the last couple of months and they just announced more jobs would be cut again.    More and more of my family and friends are getting the axe.   Unemployment is steadily rising.   Foreclosures are still happening.   Bankruptcy rampant.   I know of three people in Indiana that have committed suicide behind losing their jobs in the last month.       

Obama may not have all the experience everyone that did not vote for him wanted him to have but can anyone tell me just how many of the past 43 presidents had all the experience in the world?   If they did they would be GOD.   Perhaps people should realize that being a human being does not give us the ability to be GOD but that we should pray that the human being we elect or that is elected has our best interests at heart for all of us and that GOD leads his steps and speaks to his heart to make the best decisions for our country.  I'm tired of what we as Americans are going through and demand a "CHANGE" for the better.   Can we just unite as one nation under God, pray for our president and country so that we can move to a better tommorrow? 

2.   Too many to name.   Let's just say I have read more series than most people my age have and that my book budget is huge.    Library booksale next weekend WOOO HOOO!  

3.  I consider the "rest"room to be exactly what the first part of the word implies.   When I am in the restroom I want to rest my mind from the mental, physical and emotional challenges of the day and find a few moments of solitude.    How can you "rest" with the boob tube causing distractions?

Please don't ask anymore political questions since everyone can't give 'their' view, without criticizing other people's view. I think I'd avoid religion too since politics & religion seems to be most people's hot spots.

I know you ask these questions...and we enjoy them...so that we can get to know each other better. Some issues, are best kept to ourselves though rather than opening the door for criticism. Bathroom, hobbies & weight-loss questions are definitely among the safe ones to ask....I think so anyway...
