Saturday Morning!
Good morning all! I have been so out of it with the fever and sore throat that I didn't realize until I read posts this morning that yesterday was my 2 year surgiversary. Wow. What a change 2 years makes. 2 years ago. I weighed 285 pounds (I lost 11 pounds pre-op). Now I weigh 144 as of this morning. I got to my goal in August 2008, and have maintained it for 3 months. I really thank goodness I was able to do it when I did. Now, I wouldn't be able to afford to take two weeks off work, with Mike not working regularly. What a blessing to have been approved in 2006.
Otherwise, not too much is going on. I'm still achey and tired, even though I slept about 12 hours last night. I got a medicine that I have to take 3 times a day for 10 days. What a pain in the butt. But it was generic and cheaper, so I'll tolerate it. I didn't really have money for medicine for the whole family, so I asked the doctor to order us something generic that would do the trick.

Good morning Linda!
I'm glad you felt well enough to get on here. That's a little bit better then, huh? Did you check at WalMart or Kroger to see if they had generic antibiotic? You can find alot of them for $4 a script now.
Congrats on your surgeiversary & I hope you keep on the track of getting over this flu or whatever you had.
huggs...

Good Morning Linda and Sherri!
Linda I hope you are feeling better soon.
Sherri Glad that you got the testing completed. Sorry that it was so rough. Sounds like the dr was a real card. It always amazes me how some drs have no clue what bedside (or test side) manner is. Without patients where would they all be??
I am still pretty discouraged that the weight isn't coming off as fast as it did the first month. The scale is moving again FINALLY but slowly.
Hoping that all my OH Indiana family has a great day. And know that I will be thinking of all of you.

Good Afternoon Family,
I am so giddy about Chaz coming home that I have been cleaning house like a wizard. I am even cleaning out dressers so I can give Kim some clothes for her kids. She has a couple younger ones that are just smaller than my two youngest. It works out perfect.
Kim (Socki) texted me this morning and it seemed as though she might be needing some prayers. I am waiting to hear from her again. I will let you know if there is anything to share. Hopefully she will be able to get online later and let us know she is ok. She hasn't been feeling too good.
I went to pick up our Angel Food Ministries package today. It was a comfort to know that we at least have some meat in the freezer for a couple weeks. Hopefully I will be able to get a job or my unemployment rolling soon so we won't go too long without some income. I believe that God will provide. I'm not too scared.
It's a little rough going to Walmart for groceries and seeing all the Christmas stuff and everyone shopping. I hate that this happened now. But life goes on. I have my health back!
Hope all of you have a wonderful day.
Take care,
Tracy
