Today is the first day that I have been able to get on here. My doctor tried to do the laproscope surgery first and it didn't work. Then she had to open me up. My incision is about 12 inches long. So basically, I had both surgery's.  I feel better everyday. It was a rough start. Then I got dehydrated. Not a good feeling either. Things are better and with Gods help, I am healing and feeling a lot better. Would I do it again?????YOU BET !!!!!

Teanonna,

Sorry that you had a rocky start. I hope that the rest of your journey is smooth sailing. You can definately understand why liquids are pushed &/or encouraged so much, huh?

Welcome home...and congrats on getting past the first steps of the rest of your healthier life!

Teanonna,

It was so nice to get to see you in the hospital a few days ago!  I was really hoping I got to see you!  You looked like you were doing great!  You are definately in my prayers for a speedy recovery!!!  I hope I get to see you again, and it was unfortunate I only got to see you a few times, but I hope you do great!!!

Whoa!  What a thing to wake up to.  I've heard the open surgeries don't have the problems with gas like the laps do but I still don't think it's a fair trade-off.  You take care of yourself and we'll be praying for quick healing!

Blessings,
Jacqui

Teanonna, It's great to hear from you!  I have been wondering how you were doing since I got to visit with in the hospital.  My 6 months checkup went great.

I hope you are doing better.  The dehydration thing is ugly.  It's so hard for me.  I have found SF popsicles are great to help you bounce back.

How's your grandkids doing since "grandma had her stomach cut off" ?  LOL

Take care and You are still in my prayers.
