Happy Hump Day!

Good morning everyone!

I hope everyone has their turkey in the fridge thawing out. I think we're going to go to the kids house tomorrow. Let them do the cooking and cleaning! LOL! It'll be great just going over there and being Mamaw! From Dec. 26-Jan 4th, Bill & I are going to be watching Tiffany's 3 while she's a work because Shellie & Shyanne are going to be gone on a cruise (the cruise is her Christmas present from her grandma on her mom's side). We are looking forward to all that wonderful time with them. I just wish I could pick them up!

I got hold of Shannon at Dr. Wittle's and it sounds like the darn upper GI was normal. I'm trying not to get too upset by that because she had said that the CT test & moch pill test were both normal too and come to find out, they weren't. So..I probably won't know nothing now until next week sometimes. She said that Dr. Wittles had a note in my chart to consult with a surgeon who specializes in intestinal problems with post-RNY patients. Sounds like the man I need, huh?  She also hadn't gotten the results from the bloodwork they had orders 3-4 weeks ago...so no idea if anything was found as the cause of my liver results being elevated (or my white count being decreased).

Bill has an eye appointment at 8:15 and I see Dr. Bergman at 11:30 (the redness & heat in my leg has really gone down since starting the anti-biotic but it's still tender...and I can feel a knot there). I guess it'll be a day of being in Carmel..lol. So..if anyone is going to be up there around then and want to meet for Breakfast or lunch, give me a call (my # is on the directory).

Maybe we can get out Christmas yard stuff today or tomorrow. I'm not setting up my tree again this year. When you can't lift, bend, exert, ect, it just takes the fun out of decorating. Besides, we'll be going to Tiffany's for Christmas and her house IS decorated already! LOL! For the yard, Bill will bring it out of the shed & set it up. My job? Point to where I want it! LOL! That shouldn't hurt my tummy at all! LOL!

Floyd...the RV place said that our baby should be ready next week sometime. I'll give you guys a call when they let us know it's done. We really appreciate you guys offering to take us up there to pick it up (and for picking us up when we dropped it off!). We were so thrilled about how much $ we were going to save filling it up with the gas prices down from where they were all summer. That $ we're saving? Times it by 4 and that's about how much this little repair job is going to be. The two 'house' batteries & some relay switch all had to be replaced.

Well..I better get ready so we can hit the road. I hope traffic on 465 is going good today......

Morning all!

Going to my DIL's mother's for dinner tomorrow.   I'm making a fruit pizza.  Hoping I can make the sugar cookie crust with Splenda and it turns out ok. 

My DIL wants to hit the stores early on Friday morning.  I went with her last year for the first time and can't believe the crowds.  I told her I didn't really need anything, was she sure she wanted to fight the crowds again?  I think we may venture to Castleton Mall and get Ashley's picture taken with Santa.  They have taken her there every year and it's always been the same Santa.  I had my picture taken with them last year, and may again this year too.  I still believe in Santa!!!

Sherri, so sorry your results haven't come back yet.  I was hoping you would have some news to fix your problem by now, but probably not as much as you were I'm sure. 

I'm hoping my son gets my Christmas stuff out of the attic this weekend.  My husband and I always had our tree and decorations up by Thanksgiving so I'm late this year.   I do have some shopping done already, in fact several packages are wrapped (or bagged) and ready to put under the tree.  I'm just hoping the puppy doesn't think they are her toys.  Maybe I should wait to put them out?

Brenda and I took the day off today because I have a consultation at Community Hospital Spine Center.  My pain has gotten so bad that I've decided it's time for the spinal block.  We'll see what they say today, but it looks like I'll have it done next week.  I can't hardly do anything anymore.  I haven't even started getting the house ready for the Ornament Exchange because of my pain, but I'm running out of time.  I wanted to put up the big tree just for the exchange but I don't see it happening now.  I'll do my best to get some decorations up tho.

Well, I have some paperwork to fill out before my appointment.  Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving.

Good Morning All! 

I am planning a day of errands today.  I can hardly wait to pick up the kids and get ready to go to my sister's house tomorrow.  It's gonna be so fun.  I have a huge family.  I am the youngest of 8 kids.  There are 24 grandkids, and 27 greats.  It's always fun to spend time with all of them.  Plus, I haven't seen my Daddy since his birthday in August when he turned 80. 

I am so thankful for the blessings in my life.  Chaz made it in to Indy yesterday.  I puddled up and had a huge lump in my throat when they marched the soldiers in and then dismissed them to join their families for the visit time.  Those men and women make our lives so much better.  They keep us safe so we can enjoy being free in the greatest country on earth.  I am thankful for my health which is sooo much better than it was 6 months ago.  I am thankful for my loved ones and friends who have been so supportive of my surgery and my progress. And I am thankful for my OH family.  You are all so very special to me.

saturday a pure romance party with the sales going to a friend for her chemo (the consultant its her first party and everything she makes she is giving to B so its her way of helping) so im hoping it turns out well to saty with the them im making hanky panky i hate that stuff yuckkkkkkkkkkk
first time i ate it i thought i was having a heart attack.lol
so better get busy gotta meet sil so i can her list for in the mornin.

Good Afternoon,
 I had a dentist appt. this morning at 8. Lost a big filling ended up having a crown. UGH! Merry christmas to Shanna. My mouth just became unnumb about an hour ago and now its just sore.

We are leaving for Ohio when I get off work. I actuqally need to pack still. I don't have to be back to wor****il 4 on saturday. Yeah!

Hope evryone is doing well. I will try to post tommorrow but I have lots of people to visit in a short amount of time.

I am thankful that I was lead to this site and that I have my OH family. Without you I know I could have not been as successful as I am. Blessing to you all!
