I can't have the surgeon I wanted

I got the ball rolling with my insurance today. I need to do a 6 month physician supervised diet as I thought I would. It turns out they don't cover St Vincents and only cover St Francis so I can't have Dr Evanson. Both Drs at St Francis are good though. My case worker seems great so that will help. My 1st appt for the diet is the 1st. I can't wait to start my new lifestyle.

Well doggone it.  However, I understand St. Francis is good also.  Good luck as you start your journey.  Hang on, 'cause it's a wild ride!

I had my surgery at St. Francis and also had Dr. Clark.  He is a good surgeon.  Will you be having it at South Campus on Stop 11 and Emerson?  When I had mine they were still located in Beech Grove - but were planning on moving at some point to South Campus.

I had Dr Mandelbaum from St Francis, I adore him.  He is kind and compasionate and actually listens.  His staff is wonderful too and very accomodating.  They are extremely prompt at returing calls and adressing concerns.  Good Luck to you.

Congrats Ayreka on beginning your journey! Sometimes insurance has to play a deciding factor, ugh, whether its the sureon, hospital or surgery type! Hang in there! It will be here before ya know it! There are many on the board that have used St. Francis, as well as Dr. Clark! He has done many surgeries and changed many lives!
