HAPPY THANKSGIVING ALL
Well if you are traveling have a safe trip! I am meeting my husband down at Gray Brothers for our Thanksgiving meal! I hope this becomes a tradition for us! You can't beat their food! It is so yummy!
What is a tradition that you and your family have for your Thanksgiving? I remember when I was achild that a tradition for our family was going to my Grandmothers'and having fried chicken along with turkey for our main meat. Of course there were sometimes we had rabbit or squirrel if Grandpa had went out hunting. Of course they tried the old thing of "It tastes like chicken"! Of course it didn't look like chicken!! That was the "GOOD OLD DAYS".
Whatever you do on Thanksgiving instill tradition in your children so they will have something of you too pass down to their children!
Have a nice time with your family on this Thanksgiving day because you never know when it could be your last! Happy Thansgiving!
Hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!
I am up, ham is cooked, turkey is in the oven, and my sides are awaiting! My mom spent the night last night(that is a 1st- woohoo-she is still sleeping, lol!
We went to Mark Jrs first HS Basketball game, they lost, BUT it was fun and a great wow and memory, my baby is in high school and is playing ball, I must treasure these moments, they are almost gone! My hubby says I am a sap, so be it, ok, it is true!
Anyway, we have our tree up and our yard is decorated, finally finished at 2 a.m.! If you are near the eastside, drive by and take a peek throughout the season, the kiddos will like it! Our neighbors grandson ALWAYS stands in their picture window to watch it all come to life, as we flip the switch and all of the airblown items fill up, lol! Gotta love em, he's only 2!
I will be thinking of all of you as well today! I have so many things to be thankful for this holiday and will be saying my blessings throughout the day on several occassions, I am sure! Please know that you all will be included in those!
Again, thanks to everyone thats has said a prayer or had a special thought for me and my family! God heard them, and has answered my prayers, as well as yours!
Keep praying for those in need, no matter what that need may be!
HOPE & PETER- I LOVE YA and am thinking of you all!

I have been researching recipes on the boards and trying them out on my family and they love them! So, I am taking some really good stuff to my sis's today and no one will know that it's all healthy stuff for them! LOL sneaky me!
I hope everyone has safe travels and has great fellowship with their families and friends. Be sure to tell everyone important in your life that you love them and are thankful for them.
I am thankful for everyone of you on the board.
take care,
Tracy
Happy Thanksgiving, all!
We're going to be heading to my mother-in-law's for dinner soon. I'm looking forward to the food and fellowship! I plan to take a little bite of everything...then fill up on protein.
Well...that's the plan anyway...
Have a wonderful day, everyone!

We're going to the kids for dinner today so that made it pretty easy for me. I was asked to bring my salad (it's so darn easy but tastes delish...I have no idea why they don't make it for themselves through out the year...???). I also told Tiffany that I'd bring desserts. I got a pumpkin pie at Meijer's yesterday ($2.99 is you spent at least $10 for other stuff). I also got a small sf cake there...so I'm bringing a quart of Turkey Hill's no sugar added banana split ice cream (my fave!). I also made a sf Reeces pudding (see at end of my post for recipe). Tiffany called me last night and wanted to know if I was buying cream cheese, would I buy the 1/3 fat or the fat-free kind. I told her the fat-free and ask why. She said she was making a surprise for me. Hmmm...cheese ball or cheesecake...?? Either would be yummo!
Before we head to Tiff's, I think we're going to get out our yard decorations. That'll be a move toward 'normal' for us so that is good.
Bill's eye pressure was doing good yesterday (18..and that is good for him). He goes back in 2 weeks. My leg is doing alot better and Dr. Bergman also wants to see me back it 2 weeks. It was too tender for her to tell if it is filling up again or it it still just swollen from infection. It it turns out to be filling up again, I think she's going to schedule surgery to remove that lymph node pocket.
Yesterday, I was so blessed! I got to phone visit with Cindy Perry, Gail, and Ellen. Ellen & I got a good laugh over the USPS! She had mailed her Pampered Chef party invitations on Nov. 4th (which is stamped on the invitation by USPS)...I got mine yesterday! So....Secret Elves...if you didn't get a 'thank you' for a card or gift, maybe your person hasn't recieved it yet.
Well..you all have a good day today and enjoy your loved ones...

Reeces Pudding
I used the Pampered Chef Trifle bowl.
3 large mixing bowls, 2 whisks, spatulas, measuring cup
3 pk sf chocolate creme filled cookies (I didn't use Oreo brand but the cheaper ones)
4 pk of instant cheesecake pudding mix
3 pk of chocolate fudge pudding mix
1 c peanut butter
1 large container of sf or fat-free cool whip: set aside 1 cup
7 c skim milk
1 pk sugar-free peanut butter cups
In 1 mixing bowl: Crush cookies
In 2nd mixing bowl: Whisk together 3 pk chocolate pudding mix & 3c milk. Then fold in half of remaining cool whip.
In 3rd mixing bowl: Whisk together 4 pk cheesecake pudding mix & 4 c milk. Add peanut butter and mix well then fold in remaining half of cool whip.
Spread evenly in trifle bowl: 1/4 of cookies, 1/3 of light pudding, 1/2 of dark pudding.
Then repeat with cookies, light pudding, then dark pudding.
Then repeat with cookies (leave ~1/2 cup), light pudding.
Top with the 1 c of cool whip that was set aside and then sprinkle on the cookies that was held back. Unwrap & decorate with peanut butter cups.

I'll be getting ready for the big flea market at the fairgrounds this weekend. This has been our unusual Thanksgiving day tradition for the past couple of years. I usually have a booth or two and sell jewelry. If you make it out that way, stop by and say hello. We'll be in the Ag building.
I'm most thankful for my relationship with the Lord, who sees me through all, and has never let me down. I'm so thankful for my wonderful husband who has loved me, through all of my craziness. I'm thankful for my puppies (they're like our kids) who've taught me so many thinks like patience and unconditional love. I'm thankful my husband has a wonderful and secure job in these difficult times. I'm thankful for my renewed relationship I have with my mom, since she moved in with us. I'm thankful for all of my friendships, however few, they are precious to me.
Wishing you all a safe and happy Thanksgiving day with family and friends. Those of you who can eat pie, have a little slice for me!
Jenn
I am at my mom & dad's. I made a SF pumpkin pie last night, deviled eggs and bought rolls.
I miss being on here everyday. I feel like I have deserted you all. I am loving my new job. It has been 3 wks today. It is so nice not to have to work for once on a holiday. I would usually work every holiday.
It is looking like I am not going to make the ornament exchange. I am going to have to work that day. I will just have to catch up with you all later.
I hope everyone has a great day with their families.
