update from Karen

Hi to all of my Hoosier Looser Family!  So sorry I have been so MIA.  My life has been a whirlwind of activity!  I met a fantastic guy mid-October and my life has not been the same since.  Wow!  He has swept me off my feet.  He is not who I expected would be in my life.   He is almost 20 years older than me, but we are getting along great!  He definitely does not act his age!!!  I feel so cherished and loved.  Love is definitely better the second time around!  I kept telling myself that I would jump on here and get everyone's update and then post about myself, but the slot of time to do that just never presented itself.  I am planning to come next Saturday to the ornament exchange at Brenda and Floyd's.  Richard is coming with me.  Could someone please post their exact address so I could put it into the GPS?  (Yes, Sheri, I have moved into the 21st century and have a Tom-Tom now).  Last I knew, we were to bring an ornament to exchange and a dish to share.  We were to be there by 11:00.  Correct???

Just had my blood work done for Dr. Inman last week.  I meet with her on Dec. 18 for my 2 year check up.  Hard to believe that my surgery was 2 years ago.  After 189 pounds gone, my life is so different in so many ways.  For those of you *****call, I quit smoking Sept. 1 and consider myself smoke free.  I feel so great and am so proud of myself.  I don't have to worry if my breath is sweet smelling anymore for those kisses Richard steals from time to time. 

I am anxious to see you all next Saturday and catch up with what has been happening.  Gail, I can't wait to see the new you!  Sherri, I hope things are going well for you.  Ellen, I hope we can catch up too.  My love to you all.  Karen

Oh honey, you know how it is when a kid runs away & you get them back home...? You don't know if you should hug them or beat them. You are that teenager my dear! Gail & I were worried that something happened to you...and how would we know...???? I am so glad that Richard ended up being the diamond in this coal-littered world!

I sent you Floyd & Brenda's address. Just be really careful on Pendleton Pike...there is ALOT of road construction going on right now so people are total idiots driving through there.

WOW- how exciting for you! Congrats girlfriend, you deserve it! RIchard is the real winner, he got you, lol!

I can;t wait to see ya! I have orientation that morning, till noon. I will be there, just late!

Keep posting! I know, when you have a minute and aren't being swept off of your feet! I am so thrilled for you! Love ya, can't wait to see ya next week!

Hey Karen all of that is GREAT NEWS!! Especially the fact that you are no longer smoking! I know the GUY is GREAT  2 but it is so hard to quit smoking. Any way you look at it YOU are a WINNER!!!

  I hate to say it, but---TOLD YOU SO!!!!!!! I am sooooooo happy for you. I don't know if you remember our talk or not, but God sure has blessed you in  many ways! I am so excited to meet Richard- he has one great gal & I am so glad he treats you like you deserve!!!! Yup, we need to catch up!Dana & I will be there, & I am looking forward to it!!!!
