How many days until I can bend over?

I just had RNY on Monday....I feel great....with exception to my middle.  I know it will take time and everyone heals at different speeds.  I seem to heal quickly.  I was wondering how long until the belly aches and twinges go away?

I am 2 weeks out and have been bending over for a few days with ease.  I know I was quite happy when I could pick stuff up off the floor......I do still get a little sore when I wake up in the morning probably from relaxing in the overnight hours though....Glad you are doing so well!

The more you move the quicker it becomes easier to do things.  I think I was like two weeks out when I was able to do most things like bending over to tie shoes and such.  I am glad you are up and doing things and not slowing down a bit.  It seems like you truly are headed the right direction.  My hat is off to you for doing the surgery the week of Thanksgiving.    I was feeling good but was very tired and wore out easily after my surgery for the first week.  I hope you had a good holiday.
