3 years ago, today...

I can't believe it! It was 3 years ago today that Dr. Nigh changed my life, forever! I am so greatful to him and his staff for giving me a healthier chance at life! I walked in there so nervous and weighing in at a whopping 334 lbs. Today, I am weighing in around 188! I know, I never made it to my personal goal of 167, 1/2 of me, BUT I am healthier, comfortable in my clothes, able to breathe and enjoy my life and activities with my family! I am still working on getting closer to that goal! Its a little slower now, BUT I still am on my way! I have never lost and been able to keep it off, so that in itself is a BIG accomplishment!

I have had so much love and support from so many here on this forum! I love and cherish each and everyone of you! No matter who you are, you all have made a difference for me along my journey! Thank You so much and I hope that all of you are happy with your decisions and able to enjoy your journies to the best!

Happy Surgiversary!   You've been through a lot during those 3 years!   Look how far you've come.  I've learned NOT to say "I've only" because usually that is my way of not giving myself credit for a hard fought well-done job! 

You deserve to give yourself a pat on the back!  You rock!

I definately have accomplished ALOT and hit many a bump along my journey! Most of them NOT being medically WLS related, woo hoo! But even though I hit those bumps I moved on! It has been hard at times, but is so rewarding to know that I never gave up, amybe a lillte discouraged- BUT I am human, lol! I am so happy to have the results that I have, and am enjoying them to their fullest!
