Exercise Accountability-Sunday
IT is snowing outside where I live and somehow I have managed to maintain my weight over the Thanksgiving holiday. I really don't know how either. So today is the day to get back on that wagon and ride, ride, ride. I have not been journaling my food for the last three days, it was such a ritual before the holiday. I think I could not remember which snacks I had just consumed. I did do a turkey trot on Thanksgiving morning. A nice 4 mile walk while the turkey was starting to roast. I managed to maintain a 15 minute mile which is wonderful for me. So today I walked on our treatmill for 35 minutes and did 15 minutes on our elliptical. I do go to a gym every weekday morning for about 45 minutes but I had to get back in the groove TODAY!!! I am going to journal all my food today, even if I do venture outside what I should eat. I am now at goal and some days find it hard to maintain. I tell myself one bite won't hurt. Well those one bites are what got me into trouble with my weight to start with when I was only 8 years old. That is almost 46 years of only one bite, it won't hurt!!! Wrong!!!!

I try to walk everyday & do my Sparkpeople food journal , but like you, missed the past few days. I haven't been able to get to the gym for the past 2 weeks ( since daughter had her surgery, & I am watching kids at all hrs. ) I so can tell it on my body. Now that things are slowing down,I plan to get back to it. I agree, no more "one bites" for me!!! have a great day/week!

Hi Sue!
I haven't been to the gym since Wednesday, gonna get my butt back in gear at 6:00 a.m. tomorrow! I feel so much better when I'm exercising.
