Sunday!!

Hmm, I never start a daily thread. I have worked the past two nights and am going to go home this morning, stop at church on my way, and then try to get a little sleep. This afternoon I am taking Joshua to Cub Scouts. I hope to get some of my Christmas decorating done today too. This is quite a bit for me to accomplish after working all night, but I'm gonna give it a shot.

Anyone else have any fun plans today??

Good morning Melissa! Are you planning on coming to the ornament exchange Saturday? I hope so so that we can finally meet!

I 'didn't' have plans for today but I was going to check my cell to see if I had any messages (Tiffany texts me alot) and my scrollball won't scroll down! I love my Blackberry but that ball is a huge pain in the butt. So..guess I'll be going to AT&T and getting me a new phone. I'll probably stick with Blackberry though. I have the Pearl. Does anyone know if the software is compatable with other Blackberry models? I have some cool stuff that I don't want to lose. I'd love to get the touch-screen but I think only Verizon has that right now.

I want to check out some sites for tomorrow. Bill said that you could go to cyberMonday.com and find out where the good deals will be. I haven't checked it out yet. I guess I should have saved one of those vacation days for tomorrow! LOL! Ah well, I'll have to get right at my 'shopping' as soon as I get home from work tomorrow.

I slept until 5 today. Woo-hoo! I slept in! It's not so early compared to 2 yesterday morning. Besides, I get up at 4 for work so 5 really is sleeping in for me.

I hope you all enjoy the day today. I got a couple more blow-up things for the yard. I don't know if I'll put them out this year or not....

G'morning!  I plan to take a nap shortly.  I slept in the recliner most of the night, while the "boys" worked on DH's Jeep Cherokee which has become his new play toy, since the Mustang is now in the garage for the winter. 

Now the "boys" are sleeping, seeing as how they were up till 5 AM.  I enjoy the quiet time - everyone is sleeping but me.  I've done some online Christmas shopping.  Got to get all my shopping done before the 9th!

Then time to tackle Mt. Washmore!

Special Prayers & Healthy Wishes to Those in Need.

Good Morning fellow Hoosier Losers!  I plan to get my xmas decor and tree up and on display today.  I went to my mom's house last night and picked up a few things I had stored down there.  I love to get all my things out and see them once a year but when its time to take them down I am always more than ready.  My bathroom scales have been broken for quite sometime, I haven't replaced them because I tend to become obsessed and depressed over them.  I weighed myself yesterday for the first time in a couple weeks and I am down 80 lbs.  I can't wait to be down to  the 100 lbs lost  mark.  I now weigh 208 my mini goal is to be under 200 by new years day. 

I made the sugar free candied nuts that Jacqui gave us the recipe for over the holiday and lets just say ...never again.  I ate way too many of those and boy were they good.  I made a big tray of candied nuts, apples, and grapes with vanilla yogurt for dessert and it was a huge hit, everyone had the same problem I did with them...grazing mindlessly.  In years past it would have been way worse than a couple apple slices a few grapes and a small handful of nuts so I feel blessed that I have such an awesome tool that allowed me to make it through a very challenging holiday without feeling like a complete  failure. 

I hope everyone has a great day, and an even better week.  I am working Mon, Tue, and Wed so I will not be posting on the daily thread but I will read them daily when I get home.  I love to know what you all are up to everyday.

Im glad you got some sleep Sherry.
I had the pure romance party last night it was a blast and my gfriend got some money towards her cobra payment..
I never seen so many toys and enchaning creams and edible at that...
After the party (no men are allowed) 3 of the guys did a strip show(my dh included) yes he was wasted and they left alittle on.....
It felt good to laugh.
Do you ever look in the mirror and say to yourself wow who is that lady,i look and cant beleive its me(til i look down)lol
Gots to go to ky for dinner today and then i can rest.
Gail im sure she misses you to.
Jeannie i must have missed the nut recipe.

Morning everyone,
  Oh, I gotta get another cup of coffee in me- we had the grandkids last night for a sleep over- can anyone say " CRAZY??!!"  Penny had to rush Mike to the ER. for nausea/vomiting & migraine- he got 2 units of fluids, 2 shots,plus moriphine and sent home with meds. When he gets this it is intense. So Willow & Jax spent the night, along with Hunter. We were up in Lafayette when he called, shopping & having "Grammy" time. I thought they still had a McD's Playland- not! They love the one in Westfield. We did get them slippers for $4.00 at Wal-Mart, and a few other things I needed.It also gave Penny a chance to shop - her first time out since surgery, other than to the Drs. We did have to stop at Starbucks for a Decaf Skinny Latte, no whip, plus protien- yummy!  It was our treat; I had soy, she had non-fat. They are outside having a snowball fight right now- wonder who will come in crying first. Oh, the joys of grandkids~ I love um!!!!
   I hope to start decorating for Christmas. My Nativity is up all yr. but need to get out my Christmas tree & other decorations. DH spent the last 2 days decorating the yard- it looks so pretty at night. He made 3 wooden angels that say "Peace on Earth" and we have a cute nativity we put out every yr. plus he makes our 40 ft. flagpole a Christmas tree with white lights & a star at the top. Since we live on the edge of town you can see it for a couple of miles. We have red, white & blue lights on our porch- we started that when our grandson went into the Army & still do it. I have a new little tree for my bay window- now to get all the  stuff put up so I can decorate! UGH- I am such a clutter bug- I keep way to much. I still have all of the cards my kids & friends/family have sent me over the yrs. Anyone have ideas on what to do with them all? I am a sentamental fool!!

   Jennie- 80 # is awesome!!! I understand what you are saying about the scales- it was one of my obsessions my first yr out.
   Sherri- I hope you get some great cyber deals!!!! I like the "HUNT" but wonder if it is worth all the hassle. The stores were pretty calm after 7;30 am.up at Lafayette. I talked to some folks who said the one in West Lafayette was really peaceful, so we/I may hit there next yr. instead. We went to the one you did 2 yrs. ago- never again!That is where the cops had to be called because a guy drew a gun on someone over the Xbox!!!!!!

   Gail- I LOVE your pix- oh my gosh woman- you are one HOTTIE!!!!! Quit hiding yourslef and get out woman- its time to shine!!!! I can hardly wait to see you on the 6!!!! Oh - I want those boots- & outfit,you rock!
  The kids are hollering "I'm cold, its hot cocoa time" so gotta go! I make them the sf. kind & they never know- hee~hee! Enjoy your day everyone!

My fun plans today is to hang out with kiddos heh.. I only got the youngest of the bunch that I babysit today (theres 3 of them) and then I have my nieces here so we're just hanging ou****ching cartoons and we'll probably be doing some crafts in a lil while.

Sherri, unfortunatley I can not make the ornament exchange on Saturday because I work every Fri and Sat nights, so I have to sleep Saturday during the day. But I'll be there in spirit. I do still want to do lunch or dinner sometime before my surgery, let me know what your schedule holds. Mine gets fuller everyday trying to cram everything in before surgery. But I want to make time.
