I am freezing!

Is it just me?  I have the heat cranked up in the house to 77 degrees and my poor family is suffocating.  My Hubby says it feels like he is walking into an oven when he comes in the house and my Mom says she is going to pull out some of her summer clothes.

But I am freezing!  My hands and feet are like ice.  It is so ironic because before my surgery I was constantly hot.  To the point that I thought I was going through very early menopause.  Brrrrr!

Girl I am in the same boat you are!  I was always the hot blooded one in my house.  Now I walk around with sweatshirts... sweaters.... Going outside now is so different.  The cold seems to affect me more now too.
I have heard that after WLS that people have this reaction of feeling colder.
I hope I am cooler in the summer too!!!

Blessings to you all, Leah

I am glad to hear I am not alone.  I was beginning to think I had a circulation problem or something.  I hate to think what the heat bill will be at the end of the winter if this keeps up.

Don't feel bad sitting here in my sweats and sweatshirt with warm socks on and still cold....Swaring there is a draft coming from somewhere.  My family thinks I am losing my mind...lol now I know why...

Yep, Ladies- & Gents- I think we are ALL freezing!!!

I have been colder than ever since day 1 of my surgery and it is now 3 years later! I join you all in my warm socks, sweatshirts, hoodies and gloves! Along with some hot cocoa and a heated blanket and many times extra layers! Cuddle up and lets all get cozy cause winter is here and just beginning!

* I was cooler in the summer too! Sometimes even having a lightweight jacket on or a 3/4 length sleeved shirt! It was much more tolerable! NO more sweating! YEAH!

Get use to it girls I am about four years out and freezing all the time. I wear gloves everywhere. I almost keep them on when I went to see the doctor for my yearly check up. Just can't get warm. Thank goodness for long john.

I am over 4 years out and it hasn't gotten any better. I drink decaf hot tea all of the time to try to warm up. My hubby says that I need to go in for another surgery to get my thermostat fixed!

Well I am in the same boat as ya'all r. I am sitting at work and have my coat on anc since I type on the computer so I can't wear my gloves but I have had them on while waiting on a phone call! I was sitting there with jeans on and a long sleve shirt then had on a jacket and then put on my winter coat with the hood. I can't stand it I ache all over most all of the time.. Any ideas on how I can warm up?  BBBBRRRRRR! Michelle

We normally keep our thermostats on 68, but lately I've been cranking them up to 70 because I'm chilly. Like you, I used to be the one who was never cold. Must be the surgery!
