Thursday Morning
Good morning everyone. A little slick in spots on the road coming to work. My street in
Not much planned for today, need to defrag before I get started. I left early yesterday because my computer was running so slow on all the programs. I got so frustrated. So I went home and started addressing my Christmas cards. Got most of them done. I am decorating a box to put at the back of church to put cards for church members. Then on Sunday the 21st we will have a fellowship time for everyone to pick up their cards. It’s just a fun thing to do.
Hosting the family Christmas get together on Sunday the 21st too. That should be a lot of fun but we will have a houseful. Talked to my niece in
It seems like everyone is carrying some kind of burden. I pray for peace within you and joy immeasurable for everyone here. Not just for today, but throughout this season and in to the next year. May your troubles be few and your blessings be many.

How is everyone today? Today is my Friday so I'm doing pretty darn good! LOL!
I'm just debating on how best to spend my time today. I need to get through some of this Empower stuff (a pc program), I have 3 training courses to do, and I need to do my end of the year performance review. And shoot...I have someone's notebook & binder on my desk to verify & still have more inventory stuff to complete. So....hmmmm...I sure have a lot to prioritize for these remaining days for someone on 'desk duty', huh? Oh well. I'll get done what I get done. I'm certainly NOT going to get stressed out about it!
I'm going to be picking up Gail tomorrow & we're gonna have a 'girls day'. She's going to spend the night (slumber party! LOL!) and come to the ornament exchange with Bill & I on Saturday. Doesn't that just sound like so much fun?!?! We don't have any definate plans but with us, shopping will probably be included somewhere! LOL!
You all have a good day today!

Going down to take care of the kiddies soon, but had to get on here & say "hi' to everyone first! Had to take Bethany to the Dr's. yesterday- she has a double ear infection too! I don't know if it is contagious or not, but big brother was rushed Mon. Pm. to the ER. with it. She had 102.9 fever, so I did the cool bath & Tylenol to get it down before we left. It worries me when the stop drinking. She will ONLY drink milk- no juice or water for her.Thankfully Amy was able to go with me before she had to head off to work. I think today will be a day of baby holding for me. I have been extra tired lately, must be they are becoming more mobile, too! Before long, they will be climbing over the baby gates!
Sherri- sounds like you are one busy girl!!I envy you & Gail going shopping & having girl time!!! She called the other day- I think we do "phone tag" with each other. By the time I got her call, it was after 10pm. & I don't like to call that late. Give each other a big hug for me!!! I can't wait to see you Sat!
I have a dietitians appt. on Monday at 1;30. at St. V's then hope to finish up our shopping. We have helped out out Penny & Mike with Christmas, since she doesn't get paid while off from her surgery. Christmas is going to be small at our house this yr. With most of the boys being 14 & older, they want Cd's , clothes or $$. I got a deal at Aeropostle- 4 tee's for $30.00- just the ones QT wanted. I have more fun with the little ones. We just aren't overdoing it & trying to focus on the real meaning of Christmas. For yrs. we have supported the Christmas Toy Drive here & helped at the Caring Centers food drive. I think it is important for kids now to know there are those out there who don't have all the luxuries that TV land says you need to survive & enjoy life.
When I got home from Bible Study last night it was snowing- so I looked up to the sky & let the snowflakes fall on my face. Did you know each one is different & unique??Just like us'''all different, but important!! I hope for all of us who are going thru seasonal depression we will look up to our Father God, & remember how special we are to Him.I felt like a child again for just a few seconds basking in my Daddy's special snow kisses, just made for me to enjoy at that moment. May you each find some childlike wonder in your day today
Lots of love & blessings to you all.

I am stressing a little about not giving them gifts but I have found ways to make them some small items. Hopefully they will be even more happy with the things I have made them since so much love is going into every item. They have been really understanding and that helps.
OH! I am almost in Onederland! I have two pounds to go and that was my personal christmas present that I wished for the most. So.... in the next few days it should happen!!!
I am looking forward to the ornament exchange so much! Kim is supposed to be coming with me. Janene should be too. I haven't heard from her in a while though.
I hope you all have a great day and put a huge smile on your face. Ellen's snowflakes story was priceless. I loved it.
Huge hugs and take care.
Just a quick note. So busy at work. Monday my computer crashed and I was without it until Tuesday morning, an hour before I left for the day, so I'm still playing catch up with the 140 emails I got in that period of time.
Tuesday afternoon I had a spinal injection and it seems to have helped some already. I no longer need to pull myself up with the dresser to get out of bed, but I'm still having plenty of pain. They said it may take 72 hours before I feel the full impact, so I'm hoping it will be better in a few days.
Doing some final touch ups around the house and we'll be ready for the ornament exchange on Saturday. Hoping for good weather for those traveling. Look forward to seeing everyone then.
